It's easy, just play against easy/normal AI in skirmish.

All wins in skirmish count as a win towards your service record.

I'm not sure you can get a rank using ai as I still haven't played with anyone to get a rank while I have played a few bot matches. So that might be the only issue that you could have in regards to only ai fights. That being said wouldn't mind playing with others. Good guide.

That's actually incorrect, a lot of the achievements can be done with AI as well.

lol spreading misinformation. You do NOT get anything for playing with the AI other than just service record stats.

This was the case on the Xbox 360 version and remains unchanged in this version. :halojerome:

The ranks are score based as I remember it, which you do get in skirmish so yes.

lol,had crappy internet on orginal xbox 360, and the one time i played against humans about 2 years after release, i was up against lieutenants and colonels in 3v3 and came out on 1st in score, AI is pretty brutal when you get to Automatic(110)

AI is fun to fight but only on heroic or harder and if you change the way you play.
this sounds boring and stupid for a perfect ratio
