So as you probably know, WaveLand is a game inspired by the "wavedash" from SSBM.

In WaveLand, wavedashing was made easier to do. You can buffer the jump + dash input (basically press them at the same time) and it will still work.

So hold down right + press jump + press dash


But how is wavedashing useful?

The main goal of WaveLand is to beat it's levels as fast as possible. If you just walk right and jump over things, you won't be very fast. So lets talk about how to use the wavedash to gain speed.

The Dash Jump

This is the core movement option of WaveLand. Simply put, if you jump during a wavedash, you will keep the dash speed. Think of this like a long jump.


Wavelanding

You can start a dash jump while landing from a jump! Practice this, this is how you get S ranks!
