Job Cards
Job cards are the "Skin" or "Character" you'll use in the battles, the default Job card which you begin is the Onion Knight Job card, there are 3 types of Job card which are:

Job cards characteristics

To display the following tab you have to go to Job Card menu, and hold left click on the Job card

1.- Tells which kind of Job card is (Warrior, Mage or Ranger) , Ability Cards also display this icon, it means the job they were made for, example: Range job cards must use Range Job Abilities Cards.

2.- Each Job card posses 3 elements orbs, this means in battles you will get ONLY these 3 elements by attacking the enemy (Also every Job will gain Life Orbs which are used for Support Ability cards [Will explain them soon] )

So in this Job Card: Rogue I must use Ranger ability card from the element: Earth, Wind and Fire (You can also equip a Ability Mage/Warrior card of these element because getting the orbs in battles will allow you to use them but the result will be weakers skills because is not for your specific class/job)

3.- At the end of each [Skill Panel] you'll unlock a New Weapon (Or to improve them) and also you will Unlock a New job of your Actual job (Wtf?) to make it simple you'll evolve your character, improving the skin (how he looks) and improving the stats, some times with new Jobs you can get New orbs as you can see Rogue can use (Wind,Earth,Fire) or (Light,Earth,Fire) but this is uncommon between jobs.

This panel shows you the "Passive" Abilities of your job card, some of them are uniques (like the blue icon ones) and you can Improve the others by unlocking them in [Skill Panel] such as: Element resist, Element extra damage, Block and other passives.

You can take a look about all Job and they most relevant Skill damage
Job List[mobius.gamepedia.com]

Recommendation: The 3 starter job you get for free are pretty weak in my opinion, I recommend you to Collect 6 Summon Cards, and summon a Job, any other job will be better than these, if you are looking for a specific role like Mage,Warrior.. etc, you can reset the data and start again because Summon Cards are very rare at late game, I would take any other job.

Ability Cards
Ability cards are the abilitites your character will use in-game, I already described which one (talking about elements) your character (Job Card) should use, now I will explain some of their aspects

1.- Is the type of the ablity card which tell you on which job you should use it.

2.- Card Level: you can level up your cards with Experience points, earned at the end of each battle or Fusion it with Silver Cactuar cards (Higher level of the card will give you more stats as Ataack,HP, etc)

3.- Ability Level, Each ability card posses a Skill, which can be upgraded by using the Fusion tab, you MUST select other cards with the same Ability name (Lesser abilities can't upgrade major abilities, example: Lesser Firaga can't be use to increase Firaga level, to mae it happen you Must Augment the card with Lesser ability and it will become "Major" once he reaches 3*

4.- Every card got "Passive skills" you can unlock them first: Upgrading the Abiltiy level, once you get the correct level you must use that Card in battle to Learn the passive skill, In this card the first 3 passive skill are succesfully learned, the 4th one is unlocked but is not learned yet, the 5th and 6th skills are still impossible to learn because i need ability level 10/10 (Click on the small Icon in-game to look which Ability level it requires)

5.- Total number of Seeds that this card will give you after a battle (They are always increase by bonus so at the end of the battle I will get [56 x (Bonus)]

Like the Job Card, Ability ones also got other kind of Buff or Extra skill, however you want to call them, some of them are permanent, and by Augmenting the card you will unlock empty Extra abilities slot, which Can be learned by Fusion your card with Fractals.

Full List of Fractal and which option they could give: Fractals[mobiusfinalfantasy-share.blogspot.com]. Fractal Link 2[mediacraft.rockuapps.com] (in case the first one doesn't work)

Decks

1.- Job card you'll use in the battle

2.- You can equip upto 4 Ability cards, Like I already Explained you must use cards of the same Job type and Element, the "EXP X4.05" you see above them is a EXP Bonus that your first ability card will get in battle, in this case my Fire level 51 card wil lget that bonus in every battle, use this to level up faster your weakers cards.

For Single player (no matter the job type and multiplayer role which I will explain) I recommend the following set up:

Area Attack - Lowers defense agaisnt break
Singe Target - (Of any element you could also use a Single target attack which lower Critical resist)
Area Attack/Cone attack
Support - (for early game I recommend Restore, Regeneration or Haste)

Please notice: the attack card must be from different elements, this is just a generic deck to make your early game a little better.

3.- Job: Like I explained in job sction you will unlock improves of your Job card and you can change them here.

Weapon: You can unlock new weapons by unlocking skill panel (same for actual job improvement)

Auto: Auto abilities or unique abilities which your job card posses, unlocked by Skill panels

Abilities: A resume about your Abilities Cards.

4.- Total skillseeds produced in every battle (Will be more because of Multiplier bonus, more Battle score, higher the bonus)

5.- Skill panel is the best way to improve your Character (Job card) potential, you can unlock panels with Seeds, upgrade this everytime you can.

Note: when people talk about Job card 8*, the " * " means the numbers of "Crowns" or the Skill panel unlocked, as you can see I got the 8th panel unlocked so My actual Job is 8*

Note 2: Skill panels number 1,2 and 5,6 are Very cheap - 3,4 and 7,8 the opposite

Battle System
I won't explain much here, since I know you all are capable to understand this system, I will explain things that I know new players won't be capable to guess.

Drives

Element Drives and Ultimate skill: When you are in Auto sometimes you might notice it cast something like "Elemental Drive" which give you resist damage to a specific element, you can manually do this by Click in the Circle where the orbs are, you can also cast your Job card skill (an unique skill which comes with your Job card) after the Color bar is maxed (is located below HP Card, fill it by using attacks or skills)

You need orbs from an element to cast the "Shield" and you'll get reduced damage from that specific element attacks, the more orbs you use, more rounds it will last

Auto Battle Settings

1.- Activating this the character will prioritize the Ability which has Unlocked Passive Siklls to learn (the ones that requires Uses to be learned)

2.- Auto Job change, at Chapter IV, you will unlock Job Recast, Which allow you to change your actual Decks to Sub one (you can set up a complete different deck) this option with do this change once it is available (Usually after 4 rounds or so)

3.- Activating this will make your character to automatically cast your Job Card skill (Usually when you break opponent's defense bar)

4.- I'm not really clear which is the diffence since both Modes, Attack, uses Dives, Heal, But I guess it's a little obvious which are their fuctions.

Rental Cards

Before each battle you are asked to rent a card, in the following image I will post the cards I recommend you to Rent and Accept the follow at the end of the fight

Multiplayer Role
Besides the Job cards type

Each card comes with a Multiplayer Role (Which you can see in the Job list link I gave or in your Multiplayer Decks, before choosing a Job to the decks)

I will give short definitions about these roles, if you want to get deeper on this please visit mrowmrif2's Multiplayer Guide

It's principal objetive is to cast Powerfull ability skill to kill the Boss (Usually when he is on Break defense down state)

In my opinion one of the most imporant role which is to take down the Orange and Red defense bars

When he cast Elemental Dives the entire party will get the bonus, can also work as a tank by Taunting the boss.

another very important role which is to Buff the party, the Support cards will take effect on the entire party, and is the one to give Heals,Defenses, Magic bonus etc
Tips
In this section I will give tips for new players but also I will constantly Update this tab for Event tips, farm tips, etc which might help advance players

Newbie Tips
  • Mobius Day: As new player you need to know what Mobius Day[mobius.gamepedia.com] is.

ALWAYS use Elixir potions during this event, maybe to get faster throught the game content, no matter what don't use them in normal days

  • Magicite: Spend Magicite to buy Mobius Box, it's very important, you can constantly get Magicite from the Magicite bar below Stamina bar, you can take it whenever you can (Never let it be full don't waste a single minute)

Another way to farm it is to help others players first clear in multiplayer, you need to find a Multiplayer Group with a Red/White circle in the corner, if you defeat the bonus you will get 20 Magicite (Max 5 times per day, it means 100 Magicite per day) you can do Multiplayer runs even without stamina (Only activating the Double bonus will make you consume stamina, also you need to spend stamina to create your own room)

  • Openers: You'll get them during the game, the most helpfull use for these is to unlock Panels in Skill Panel I recommend them to use at 7th and 8th Panels, they mostly Use Gold and Silver openers, use them in the panel which requires the MOST quantity of seed, it's like 80,000 Seeds or more, to use them clikc in the (Top-Right icon corner) you can see it in my Skill panel image

You can also use them to Upgrade your weapon if you are out of seeds

Terra Battle Tips

  • I recommend to farm this item in the "3rd Slayer Nodes" Counts like a 4* Cactuar, in my opinion is really worth for only 5 Stamina, this is your chance to max your seeds

  • The last node "Animata: Reactor" could be really usefull to unlock your Passive ability skill, since he has a nice Health you can spam a lot of skill, but becarefull I'm sure you will need a 5* event card to make him weaker (otherwise you need very powerfull decks to break him down fast)
Common terms
  • Gatcha cards: Cards bought from Ability Shop
  • Fodder cards: Cards dropped by battles
  • CRD: Critical resist reduce abilities
  • BDD: Lower defense against Break abilitites
  • Sicarius cards: Multiplayer Bosses cards
  • SP / MP: Single Player and Multi Player, mostly related to game content

I just came back to this game after many months. Have they made it so you can change from being the WoL? I see him in some ugly orange monk outfit in cutscenes and I'd much rather be a different character or at least see him in a better looking outfit LOL

I have been trying to get into this game but I just don't understand fusing or augmenting at all. Everyone suggests you do it so you get better cards like augmenting to 3* so you get 3* drops for fusing but if you don't know what is being talked about it all seems like nonsense.
