Each turn in Vikings Gone Wild — a deck-building, resource management game based on the online real-time strategy game — players can either buy permanent buildings sitting in front of them (resource factories, resources containers, etc) or buy units, towers and special cards that improve their deck and offense/defense capacity.

The only way to win is by successfully attacking each other, and each attack involves interesting bluffing mechanisms in which the attacker doesn't know the defense capacity of their opponent...

Instead of an expansion adding more players, how about solo play? It's absolutely ridiculous how many deckbuilders aren't 1 player at the bare minimum! This is like a no-brainer.

I understand that argument, at the same time I know people (myself included) who purchase things after having tried them on TTS. I'm also finding myself less and less okay with the idea of locking mechanics and features behind KS exclusives. Cosmetics and minor things are one thing, but entire game modes and expansions are kind of silly.

That's just my opinion and I fully respect your stance :) Just been thinking on it more especially after backing a few projects myself recently. Backed a few CMON projects and while they do release the expansions at some point, they do keep exclusive characters and figures.

yeah..i would mod the kickstarter but...that kinda defeat the purpose of kickstarter exculusives and its not fair to lucky duck working so hard this project..So i decided not to mod the cards in. Plus I might get in trouble by the company hunting people down and forcing them to take down TTS mods. It has happen to me before

From what I've seen the kickstarter stuff is fairly interesting. I'm going to have to hunt down what I can when cash is available. The one expack I want was sold out last I looked though.
