Back in 2017 I made my first attempt at a vote kicking system. It wasn't precisely the best, so I've decided to remake it.

Simple Votekick is a basic voting tool for players to kick griefers in the absence of administrators.

Opening the voting menu

You can either:

Q menu > Options > DyaMetR > Simple Votekick > Open voting menu
Typing !votekick in chat.

Customizing voting methods

Clients can customize how they vote by going to Q menu > Options > DyaMetR > Simple Votekick.

Use key binds to vote
Toggles key binds. If disabled, it will require the player to type either !yes or !no in chat.
Vote yes
Key used to vote positively during an active vote.
Vote no
Key used to vote negatively during an active vote.

Server configuration

For listen servers you can access options by going to Q menu > Utilities > DyaMetR > Simple Votekick.

From here, admins can also abort a vote if they deem it to be abusive by clicking Abort current vote.

For dedicated servers here's the full list of console variables:

sv_votekick - Enables the addon. Disabling it during a vote will cancel it.
sv_votekick_immuneadmins - Doesn't allow players to vote admins off.
sv_votekick_bantime - How many minutes is a player banned when voted off.
sv_votekick_votetime - How many seconds does a voting last for.
sv_votekick_cooldown - How many minutes does a player need to wait before calling another vote.
sv_votekick_minvotes - Minimum percentage of players that need to partake in the voting for it to be valid.
sv_votekick_minplayers - Minimum amount of players required for a vote to be called.
