They're out to get you... or are they?
A grave sickness has taken Paradise... Again. Stupidity breeds like mice to cheese - the bystanders unaware of their own debauchery even as the world seems to crumble around them. It's time to take action.


What's this?
Do you feel like the POSTAL 2 Dude is missing something? Do you feel like that, although he means business, he's in it more for the jokes? Look no further. This mod silences the POSTAL Dude, and brings back the demon that we all know and love to egg on and encourage your spree of murder and cleansing.

What's different?

Over twenty voice lines, each mastered by Rick Hunter for POSTAL: Redux!
- It's a good day to die
- Death is my master
- Going Postal!
- Die, like the dog you are
- Postal!
- They never liked you
- Beg for this
- You're the man!
- And more...

This mod only replaces voice lines that relate to killing / harming enemies with any weapon, or cheating. Yes, that also includes killstreaks or "quick-kills".

How the hell do I install it?

Go here: www. mediafire .com /file/ v94k6r6h43phckd/REDUX+Lines.rar
Because Steam likes to treat its players like a bunch of children, you'll need to copy that and remove the spaces.
There will be a readme file within the download that will instruct you how to properly install and use this mod - it is fairly easy.

You may have to both subscribe and extract the .rar in order for the mod to work.

I noticed in this video, a mod that allows execution like in Postal 1. I can't find it, what is it called? Or maybe someone can help me and show me the way to it?

Sadly, it doesn't work. Dude is silent for the whole game.

for some reason your mod is named dudedialogue while the actual file in the sound folder is called dudedialog, so it doesn't end up replacing the voice lines

It might be possible but it's beyond me. You have to replace some of the original lines as far as I know, I'm not savvy enough with PostEd to know if you can actually add.

Is there a way you can add these dialogues to game WITHOUT replacing the old ones?

And yeah as long as I remove the BasePeople.u and add it from XPatch it works fine. Conflict of sorts maybe?

For some odd reason this along with XPatch and Brain Damaged Startup causes my game to crash if I install it manually. Gives me the Failed to find function GetDudeSkin in AWPostalDude Startup.AWPostalDude0 error as soon as I drop the files of this mod into the game.

Because I am going for a specific tone with this addon. I'm removing the funny slapstick and replacing it with gritty sadism.
