Ford Gran Torino 1975 red

Beskrivelse
This is the 2 door coupe version of the 1975 Ford Gran Torino that became the de facto third star of the 1975 to 1979 television series Starsky & Hutch.

The car proved so popular that Ford produced 1,000 models for sale in 1976.

In the series Paul Michael Glaser’s character, David Starsky owned the car but Glaser himself is reported to have disliked it. He said that it looked like a ‘striped tomato’ and allegedly drove it into the curb whenever possible. Any irregularities in this model's mesh may be attributed to this.

As this is not a law enforcement car occupants are not entitled to carry M1911A1 Colt semi-automatics or Colt Python .357 Magnum revolvers with 6 inch ventilated barrels. They may however roll on the bonnet but this will probably involve additional damage to the mesh.

Notes

Model made from scratch using Blender, Adobe Illustrator and Affinity Photo. The tri count has been deliberately kept as low as possible and some mesh definition sacrifices were therefore necessary. No colour changes are incorporated into the model as I felt it should stay true to the television version.

This is the first model I have made for Cities: Skylines. Feedback is always appreciated.
