Lore
MBCB-101 is the first model of the nano technology series. “Gizmo” was the initial prototype model that made it through development. The MBCB-101 is the standard in micro resources. Designed for widespread functionality the MBCB-101 is a valuable asset. With its unique design, this unit can take out any communication system, from fiberoptics to satellite dishes; however, if you plan to take out the power, be prepared to lose a few units.

With a constantly changing algorithm the MSRU-101 has the ability to crack codes and encryptions. With the algorithm constantly programming changes in the unit even we don’t know what will happen.

Gamemodes
Versus
Versus is an arena style mode where you fight against your fellow robots without fear of other enemy swarms. Players can select their level and how many lives they want, the last man (or robot) standing wins.

Chaos
In chaos mode a player or multiple players, up to 4, fight together to kill as many Cockroaches, Gummy Bears and BoomCubes as they can to gain points. At 1,000,000 points players summon a powerful giant Gummy Bear named Timmy.

Control
The Control gamemode will draw elements from MOBAs, with control points, minions and more. Control is currently a work in progress by the Dev Team.
Levels
Couch

The Couch level is very open, players can walk on the entire map, including the floor.

Table

The Table level is another very open map, however on this map as of v4.0.1 the floor is still lava! Don't fall down!

Kitchen

The Kitchen level is small and dark. Beware of the floor on this map as well.

Bathroom

The Bathroom is a medium sized map, with a lot of verticality. Players are able to jump on the floor on this map.

Bedroom

The Bedroom is a large map with very flat terrain, there are a few spots that must be jumped to reach them. Additionally the floor is still lava.

Power-Ups
There are 3 main power-ups and one Random that can be picked up throughout each of the levels.
Weapon Boost (Yellow), Shield (Blue), Health (Red) and Random (Pink).

Weapon Boost

Weapon Boost effects each MiniBot differently. For Gizmo the Weapon Boost increases the size of his saw blades and increases the damage dealt. Clip's miniguns go into overdrive changing the projectile color to blue and dealing massive damage. Bit's bit projectile increases it's area of effect and deals much more damage. Mack's ground pound area of effect size increases dramatically with a huge boost in damage. Finally Carmine's plasma balls change color to a bright white, increase in size, damage and linger on the level longer allowing for a ton of kills!

Shield

The Shield gives a temporary impenetrable shield around the MiniBot, this can be used in a pinch to get out of a tight situation.

Health

The Health power-up gives and instant Health increase on pickup.

Random

The Random power-up can contain any of the previous power-ups OR one of the following:
  • Speed - Increases movement speed
  • Slowness - Decreases movement speed
  • Radiation - A toxic cloud of radiation which spreads to everything and deals constant damage
  • Rocket Strike - Calls in a friendly rocket strike on your last location
  • Black Hole - A black hole gravity well forms pulling everything into it, if you can last it it will heal you
Chaos Mode Tips & Tricks
Here I will give you some basic tips on how to play Chaos mode.

Reducing Damage
To reduce the amount of damage you are dealt you want to avoid coming in contact with enemies. If you must come in contact with them make sure to reduce that time by jumping around and minimizing your time on the ground.

Kiting
Kiting is the term for when you run around a group of enemies, getting them to bunch up as they follow you allowing you to easily shoot at as many as possible at once. By kiting you will be able to get massive point drops.

Power-Ups are your friend!
Power-ups spawn all over each level, you will want to take a few rounds to learn the spawns of the power-ups so that when you are running around and kiting you know exactly where to go to find them. Another tip is to save rare power-ups like health until you need them instead of using them with full health.

Attack Styles
Each bot has a different attack style, and projectile which I listed earlier in this guide. Learning the best way to use each bot is key to getting a high score.
  • Gizmo's attack is best used from a high up location where his saw blades can fall down and roll over as many enemies as possible.
  • Clip's attack has an advantage when jumping as she will shoot down at an angle, so running around, jumping and spinning with her are sure to gain you a ton of points.
  • Bit's attack is great for kiting, run around and gather a large trail of enemies while shooting into them to get huge point drops.
  • Mack is a difficult bot to play as, you must learn to time his attacks as you must be close to the enemies to damage them. With him you want to find weapon boosts as much as possible, so clearing random power-ups with him is a must.
  • Carmine takes some skill to master also, his attacks aren't super strong, but using walls and other objects to split his projectiles so that they hit more enemies is very important.

Cockroaches and Gummy Bears
Cockroaches and Gummy Bears are both do contact based attacks, if they are within a short range of you they will start slowly damaging you.

BoomCubes
BoomCubes are a weak, damage heavy enemy. Once they spawn they slowly burn down their fuse until they explode. On BoomCube waves run as far away from them as you can a group of BoomCubes can kill you in one explosion. Enemies killed by BoomCubes will not give you points.

Timmy Tactics
Earlier I discussed Timmy, a powerful giant gummy bear that deals large amounts of damage per attack. Timmy will spawn at 1 million points, so keep an eye on your score. As you near 1 million begin saving important power-ups like weapon boosts, health and shields. Once Timmy spawns get away from him as soon as possible, his attacks WILL kill you almost instantly. Grab a shield and a weapon boost and unload into him, the sooner you kill him the better.
Timmy has two attacks:
A area of effect if you are too close to him and a range attack if you are further away.
