I have owned this game for a long time and usually would just play fast and loose for an hour or so and then go to bed.
Lately though Ive been getting into this game and this filled in a lot of things I didn't understand (specifically stats, good bro groupings, and equipment) very well.
Thanks so much for this!
Colossus is up to debate, here's yet another, wonderfully written guide (in English this time) where author uses only 2handers and ranged and without Colossus.
What "other" guide?
I agree with another guide that Colossus on everyone is more useful for survival than Pathfinder, if you don't plan to flee the battles often.
Another note (also from another guide): Fast Adaptation perk is a must for snipers, who's usual and most important job is to remove those nasty Hexes or Necromancers or shamans or enemy snipers, and those are under cover most of the time.
