Launch Steam and right click on Caster and select properties

Then select the Local Files tab at the top and click Browse Local Files...

Within the main Caster folder you "should" see a file called settings.ini

If this file is missing Right click in the white space and create a new text document.

Copy the following settings data below and then open the text file and paste it in.

After you paste this in you can change the resolution to whatever might work for your PC.

To make this easier for some people you can now click on File and Save As

Name the file settings.ini and double check that it's saving to the Caster folder and hit Save

Now try to launch the game and see if it works. If it does not work you might try to change resolutions. Search google for common resolution settings but in theory whatever your desktop resolution is should work.

You should make a copy of the settings.ini somewhere you will remember at a much later date. At some point an update deleted mine and the game once again was Black Screen...
