There is a button, where you spawn, to activate the wave(s). An Antlion Guardian will "scream" and than the game / gamemode to survive starts. The best option is to install this map on a server and play this map with friends as it's getting harder and harder after every wave.

You can also spawn NPC's to assists you in surviving through each wave. It's up to you.

Overall; it's a fun game that you can play with real friends or with NPC's.

You'll need HL2, HL2 EP1 & HL2 EP2.
For the end tune, in the room, after you finished every wave and the final boss, you'll need Portal 1.

Sorry it took me so long, MISTERAMD, but I just tried your suggestion now and it worked! The toxic antlions do indeed show up, and even other things in the environment that were ERRORs before are now revealed to be additional flammable containers. Now I'll be able to get my full enjoyment from this map, thanks to you! :)

I beat it on my 1st try without dying once!!! It took sooooo long and almost all of my ammo. (I almost died to the headcrab)

When you start Gmod, there is a gamepad icon in bottom right corner of the menu. Upon clicking it, it opens a list of games that you can mount. Games that you don’t have installed will be greyed out, while the games you HAVE installed will have a checkbox next to them. Simply enabling the checkbox and restarting the game is enough to mount the game.
