I believe there are way to many super flashy future skins today, so I created this...

The name I was going for originally was " Awp - Katana ", but seeing that such a name was taken, I wanted to come up with something unique... Ayojube ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/id/ayojube/ ) had the idea to call the skin " KatanAwp ", he came up with the name and I thank him for it.

The KatanAwp is an Awp that is inspired by traditional Japanese art. I decided not have outlining in favour of making the skin look more " simplistic ". The art on the awp was hand sketched and I used gradients to bring colour into my drawing. This way I was able to bring in some detail, but keeping the design simple. I drew the Katana in a way that it is as if the end of the blade is coming out towards you giving of a 3D affect... The waves are inspired by "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" drawing, I wanted to add some art work of the sea to bring more of a Japanese feel to the skin.

Both a Katana and an Awp sniper rifle are the same as they both inflict great damage.Precise, swift and deadly... This brings me to the writin letters down the barrel as they translate in Japanese to "Rapid and Fatal ". The one letter on the scope wrapped in vines mean "Katana" in Japanese.
