Introduction
UPDATE: I'm gonna add Custom DSR method to guide soon
TL;DR: Ya' need to make "Ciri sunset pano" fam using specific tools listed below

Have you ever wanted to capture beautiful sights from the immersive world of The Witcher 3?
Or probably you already attempted that and wasn't very successful or had no clue what to do to begin with? Well in that case we'll be glad to help you correct your mistakes with this guide!
First of all you must understand what aspects of The Witcher 3 makes it beautiful. Sure there's alot of stuff to screenshot in this game but you must find that one specific thing which the game audience loves the most. However we are talking about the most reoccurring theme that people like to see all the time and never get bored of it. This most desired theme I'm talking about is known as "Ciri sunset panorama"

Panorama by Alexey

Ciri sunset panos are without doubt the most popular type of screenshots you'll ever see
on The Witcher 3's game/Steam community hub. If you wanna start your screenshotting career with a successful screenshot then you should definitely try and make Ciri sunset pano yourself.
Requirements
You'll need the following things:

Disclaimer:
All installation and usage guides for: Photomode 2inOne, Debug Console Enabler and ReShade injector are provided on websites from which you download these tools. Be sure to read them correctly before implementing these mods!

However! Feel free to use one of these guides as well:

Screenshotting step-by-step
Let's get to work then!
  • The first step is finding an appropriate scenery for your panorama. This might be time consuming task because you may end up being picky about the spot. Remember thou!
You're after the landscape that will highlight the sunset.
  • Once you have found your desired spot for panorama set in-game time (via meditation)
between 18 to 20PM. Also! make sure the sun's position satisfies you.
  • Using Photomode 2inOne controls (numpad) select weather conditions you wish to have.
I highly recommend using mid clouds/mid dark clouds.
  • Using Debug Console by pressing F2 and entering command ciri
you'll switch characters from Geralt to Ciri (use command geralt to switch back)
  • Use Photomode 2inOne time stop option and then access In-game ReShade overlay using Shift + F2 . Use ReShade to tweak your in-game post-processing giving it the tint or other effects you wish to have. Keep it in mind thou using ReShade requires some knowledge about its shaders. However for the first time use I highly recommend using these two following shaders: FILMICPASS and Tonemap
  • Once everything is set youre ready to start screenshotting using following methods...

Screenshotting by stitching method:
  • Before you attempt this method make sure you have downloaded and installed Image Composite Editor
  • Watch this tutorial video so you'll get full insight on how stitching works
  • Access Debug Mode freecamera by pressing F1
  • Start taking taking screenshots that will make a panorama as a whole.
  • Use Image Composite Editor to piece all these screenshots all together into one panorama.
  • The end result should be something like this:

Screenshotting by Super-resolution DSR/VSR method:
  • Enable your Nvidia DSR or AMD VSR settings. This allows you to access 4K resolutions without needing 4K monitor. If you're using AMD GPU keep in mind! Many of older date AMD GPUs aren't compatible with full 4K Super-resolutions.
  • Set your 4K resolution in game options then use Debug Console freecam which is F1 button and take your shot.
  • Once you're done crop it in FastStone Image Viewer . It won't be fully a pano but it's something at least.
  • End result should look like this:

Screenshotting by Nvidia Ansel method (Only for Nvidia GPU users):
  • Instead of using F1 button which is Debug Console freecam and Photomode 2inOne timestop (numpad0 button) press Alt + F2 enabling Ansel overlay which is its own independent camera tool.
  • This video will give you some insight on how to use Nvidia Ansel:
  • You'll be interested in capturing your screenshot with either Super-resolution capture mode or 360 capture mode
  • FastStone Image Viewer will be essential later for cropping your in-game captures.
  • Example end result of cropped 360 capture mode screenshot should look like this:
(Keep that in mind cropped 360 capture is less impressive than cropped Ansel Super-resolution capture)

Screenshotting using custom DSR method (Only for Nvidia users with powerful GPUs):
To be added later... Someday ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Finalization and sharing your content
Once you're done screenshotting make sure to share your content in screenshot related groups .

UPDATE:
Most of groups are circle jerks nowdays who highlight their staff members content only, so don't bother lol

As far as I can tell it's addon for ansel hence it falls under Ansel category. Although I might include it to my guide once I find some free time to edit it.
