ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
Legends of Sarynth is a classic role-playing game with all of the traditional elements: character classes, quests, boss fights, items, spells and more.

This is an alpha release, so please report bugs. The road to beta is described below.

Alpha

Players may solo, or co-op with up to 3 total players. Six classes to choose from, each with a small set of core skills. Follow the introduction quest line to slay Scar. Progress, items, and quests are all saved.

Your progress is automatically saved. The first (scar), second (kobold), third (webs), fourth (dark) and fifth (druids) areas have been released.

Unique mechanic, "Focus Target" is enabled by default. While not very helpful with the sheep, as you progress to more difficult enemies, you may find it helpful. It can be toggled with the "Focus Target" button in the bottom left.

Beta

We will move from alpha to beta release once the entire map has been unlocked, there are six main areas. The entire map is already built, and the creatures have been added in, but still need to build the quests, and balance the progression.

Be forewarned, there will likely be a full wipe either when transitioning from alpha to beta, or beta to full release, or both times.

@Sarynth Remember me? I remembered you with this mod that had different and cool mechanics and HUD. I want to show you this games platform that uses an Editor similar to Warcraft 3, but more powerful.
If you are a solo developer, I think you will like this platform because you wouldn't spend so much time on coding and/or design as the platform has many free assets for different types of games and a visual programming language structured in events, condition and action . If you still want to use a programming language the editor supports LUA.

I appreciate all the kind words. I don't have time to work on this game anymore. I have open sourced it if anyone is interested in picking it up and expanding on it. I'm currently working on a new game, this one isn't based on DotA, but rather it is a standalone game.

I have not tested new versions. But I saw that you updated the game. Will you update it more?

I thinked you were disheartened, with Dota 2 upgrades breaking your game.

I finished the game in half an hour, I would love to see more implemented and also the qop boss (forgot her actual name) was much harder than the last one, I didn't even kill her died like 8 times there and gave up. She doesn't get stunned and for me playing as a mage was a real issue, the last boss for instance didn t even hit me once

It's a really well polished game so far, other than content which you've stated you're working on. Hard to find a really engaging RPG like this on Arcade any more. I like what you've done so far, and yeah, it annoyed me that when I wanted to farm Queen of Pain or the Bear Druid, I had to restart the game each time.

I'd encourage you to move your current assets, post ice zone release, to a larger map size so you can further expand upon what you already have. Titanbreaker seems to push the limits with its massive map size, but there's a lot of empty space. Your map on the other hand shows a really good use of space available, and if you move to a bigger map while maintaining that philosophy, I know you can provide a lot of different zones and content. Keep up the awesome work.
