Overview

In the The Fishing Club 3D, of course you can play alone if you like, but the real fun starts when you join a club or start your own! There are various tournaments and competitions where you can take your club to glory or shine as a solo angler:

  • The individual all-time rankings: Your total weight of all fish you ever caught counts
  • The club all-time rankings: The total weight of all fish ever caught by all members of your club counts
  • Weekly club tournament (see section below)
  • Hourly speed fishing tournaments for solo anglers (see section below)
  • King-of-the-Spot club challenges at every fishing spot (see section below)
Weekly Tournament
If you are part of a club, you and your fellow members automatically compete in the weekly tournament. Starting each Monday at 12am CET and lasting until the following Monday at that time, all catches your club makes count towards the weekly tournament score.

For each catch you make, a "club score" is calculated like this:

club score = fish weight / 10 * club-active-member-factor.

The factor decreases the more members of a club are actively fishing. This is to give smaller clubs a better chance to compete with very large ones.

  • For a club with one to three active members the factor is 2.8
  • For a club with 150 active members the factor is 1.0

An active member is a player who caught at least one fish during the previous 24 hours.

The top three players per week at each location receive the following trophies:

1st: Gold Champ (40 Goldfish)
2nd: Silver Champ (20 Goldfish)
3rd: Bronze Champ (10 Goldfish)

The active members of the top three clubs per week at each location receive the following rewards:

Club on first place:

1st: 100 Goldfish
2nd: 80 Goldfish
3rd: 60 Goldfish
4th+: 20 Goldfish

Club on second place:

1st: 50 Goldfish
2nd: 40 Goldfish
3rd: 30 Goldfish
4th+: 10 Goldfish

Club on third place:

1st: 25 Goldfish
2nd: 20 Goldfish
3rd: 15 Goldfish
4th+: 5 Goldfish
Speed Fishing
Speed Fishing contests are all about catching as many fish of a certain kind as possible within one hour. At each fishing location, a new contest starts every hour with a certain species and weight class. Click the Spped Fishing tab in the top right to see your standing in the running competition.

The best three solo anglers receive the following prizes:

1st: 5 Goldfish
2nd: 4 Goldfish
3rd: 3 Goldfish
King of the Spot
At each fishing spot, challenges for the "King of the Spot" are running at regular intervals. In order to win a challenge for the King of the Spot, your club has to catch the most fish (weight) since the start of the tournament and also defend your position on 1st place until the countdown is over. If another club takes the top position before the time is up, the countdown will reset! All players who contributed to their clubs’ victory will receive a random prize.

A new challenge starts 15 minutes after the previous challenge at that fishing spot has ended.

Only the amount of fish caught during the current challenge counts. All clubs start a challenge with 0kg/lbs.

A club that won a challenge at a fishing spot is not allowed to take part in other challenges at that spot for a certain period of time. The lock-out countdown is displayed on the location map with a red badge. A green badge tells you where members of your club are currently engaged in a King-of-the-Spot challenge, so got to that spot and help them out!

In addition to the info window in the top right, you can also see who is currently king by looking for the flagpole at each spot. It will always fly the current king's flag!
