Introduction
SPOILER WARNING: If you're into Rogue System for the pure joy of exploration, turn back now. This entire guide could be considered a spoiler. If you just want some help finding the more interesting things scattered about the sandbox, however, you've come to the right place.

This guide is for the early access 0.2.01.09 version of the Test Sandbox scenario. Any or all of the following information could be completely invalidated in any upcoming update.

When unavailable in-game, station names and satellite designation numbers were parsed from the game's data files.

Many of the values listed below, such as those for orbital altitudes, are approximations or averages. Days and hours are relative to Earth time, not to the planet or moon in question.
UESS 23.1
The innermost and smallest planet in the UESS-23 star system. Volcanic, with an average radius of 2,450 km and orbital altitude of 55 million km. It has a rotational period of 176 days and an orbital period of 84 days.

UESS 23.1.1
The only moon of 23.1; cryovolcanic, with an average radius of 700 km and orbital altitude of 126,000 km. It has a rotational period of 45 hours and an orbital period of 21 days.

Angel OBT (Training platform)
Named after the developer's wife.
  • Altitude: 145 km
  • Approach frequency: 45.10.2
  • Departure frequency: 45.10.3

UESS 23.2
The second and middle planet in the UESS-23 star system. Cryovolcanic, with an average radius of 6,050 km and orbital altitude of 106 million km. It has a rotational period of 117 days and an orbital period of 216 days.

Derelect Flying Fox
While docking with the derelect fox appears to be possible, it is in an uncontrolled 3-axis spin.

OPS Sats (20-1, 20-2, 20-3, 20-4)
There are 4 OPS Sats orbiting 23.2 equidistant from each other at an altitude of 5000 km. Unlike most man-made satellites in RogSys, they cannot be docked with.

UESS 23.2.1
The only moon of 23.2; cryovolcanic, with an average radius of 510 km and orbital altitude of 167,000 km. It has a rotational period of 45 hours and an orbital period of 8 days.

The farthest planet out in the UESS-23 star system. A wetland planet, with an average radius of 6,440 km and orbital altitude of 150 million km. It has a rotational period of 45 hours and an orbital period of 376 days.

UESS 23.3.1
The first moon of 23.3; Cryovolcanic, with an average radius of 957 km and orbital altitude of 140,000 km. It has a rotational period of 20.5 hours and an orbital period of 6 days.

You begin sandbox mode docked here. Named after Joe Campana, co-founder of Image Space Systems, Rogue System's publisher.

  • Music Broadcast: 45.1.301

There are 4 OPS Sats orbiting 23.3.1 equidistant from each other at an altitude of 5000 km. Unlike most man-made satellites in RogSys, they cannot be docked with.

UESS 23.3.2
The second moon of 23.3; Cryovolcanic, with an average radius of 893 km and orbital altitude of 370,000 km. It has a rotational period of 45.5 hours and an orbital period of 25 days.

The third and largest moon of 23.3; An icey body, with an average radius of 1,470 km and orbital altitude of 755,000 km. It has a rotational period of 18.5 hours and an orbital period of 75 days.

The fourth moon and smallest of 23.3; A barren moon, with an average radius of 574 km and orbital altitude of 970,000 km. It has a rotational period of 12.5 hours and an orbital period of 110 days.

The Verne is the only ring station and the only unmanned station in the sandbox solar system.
