How To Setup Machines
By Commander_Black
I will attempt to explain the basics of the wiring tool.

I know there is plenty of youtube videos, but personally
When im ingame, i wanna read clear explanation.
I dont care for watching a youtuber taking 20 minutes
to finally explain me what i need in the last 3 minutes of
his video.

This is my first guide so be nice and please comment if i forgot something or if im wrong somewhere.
Dont forget to rate up if it helped you :)

[The Keypad] How to lock a door
- craft a KeyPad and place it on a wall near a door.
- craft a number comparison gate and hide it underground or within the walls near the keypad.
- equip your wiring glove and select it.
- look at the keypad and left click on send (it will create a wire between it and your glove).
- look at the number comparison gate and left click on receive.
- look at the number comparison gate and left click on send.
- look at your door and click on receive.

Your keypad is now connected to your door passing through a gate allowing to add a password.
Now all you need to do it set it up.

- look at your number comparison gate and press N to open the setup interface.
- on the right side, change the option to value and type the desired code.
- Make sure your keypad is connected to the left side and shows a coordinated on the left.
- Look at your keypad and press N to open the setup interface.
- choose a delay between wich your door will open and close (if zero, door will instantly close, not allowing you to pass through).
- Look at your door and press N to open the setup interface.
- uncheck can interact in order to prevent it from being opened without using the keypad.
- check reverse if you desire the door to open on the other side (when using double doors, 1 will need to be reversed).

Now your keypad is set and is the only way to open your door.
Look at the keypad and press E or whatever is your action key and type in your code to open the door wich will automatically close back after the delay youve set in the keypad setup interface.
[The Pressure Plate] How to make doors open automatically
- Craft a wiring tool and equip it.
- Craft 1 pressure plate.
- Place 1 in the ground in front of your door.
- Select your wiring tool and look at your pressure plate.
- left-click Send on your pressure plate (you will see a link between the pressure plate and your wiring tool).
- Look at your door and left-click on Receive (the link will transfer from your wiring tool to your door, linking it to the pressure plate).

Now steping on the pressure plate should open your door and close it as soon as you are leaving the pressure plate.
However, attempting to cross the door will have for result to close it on you and either glitching you through, sending you to the skies and killing you or simply trapping you in the door itself.

To prevent that from happening, you will need to go through 1 more step and set a delay on your pressure plate. This will allow your door to remain open for X seconds after you left the pressure plate before closing itself.

- Look at your pressure plate with your wiring tool and press N to open the setup interface
- Change Delay from zero to 3 seconds and click save.

If you wish to use this on a locked door, make sure to set your door so it can't be opened by right-clicking it.

- Look at your door with the wiring tool and press N to open the setup interface.
- Uncheck Can Interact to prevent it from being opened by right-clicking on it or with the action key.
[The Switch] how to turn on a lamp
- Craft a Wiring Tool and equip it.
- Craft a Lamp and place it anywhere in the room.
- Craft a Switch and place it anywhere in the room.
- Look at your switch with your wiring tool and left-click send. This will create a link between the switch and your wiring tool.
- Look at your Lamp an left-click Receive. The link will transfer from your wiring tool to the lamp, linking it to the switch.

When you turn the switch on and off, it should also turn your lamp on and off.

[The Delay Gate] Lamps circuit
Now lets say you want your Lamps to turn on 1 after the other to slowly illuminate your hall when you turn on the switch.

- Place your switch at the begining of you hall.
- place 1 lamp every 5 blocks in the hall for a total of 5 lamps.
- place 1 delay gate under your floor or within your walls or even in your ceiling for each lamp.

You should now have 5 lamp and 5 delay gate.

- Look at your delay gate #1 and left-click send.
- Look at your lamp #1 and left-click receive.
- Look at your delay gate #1 and press N to open the setup interface.
- Change Delay from zero to 1.
- Repeat the process for the 4 other delay gate and lamps

Now we have all lamp set up to turn on 1 second after each others.
But we still need to link it all togheter in a circuit.

- Look at your Switch and left-click send. You will now the a link between the switch and your wiring tool.
- Look at your delay gate #1 and left-click receive. The link with the switch will transfer from your wiring tool to the delay gate #1.
- Look at your delay gate #1 and left-click send. (yes, it can send to more then 1 place)
- Look at your delay gate #2 and left-click receive.
- Look at your delay gate #2 and left-click send.
- Look at your delay gate #3 and left-click receive.
- Look at your delay gate #3 and left-click send.
- Look at your delay gate #4 and left-click receive.
- Look at your delay gate #4 and left-click send.
- Look at your delay gate #5 and left-click receive.

Now when you turn on your switch, it will send signal to the first lamp, opening it after 1 second.
Then to the second lamp 1 second later, then to the third lamp 1 second later, etc....
[The Inverter Gate] Flashing Leds in a loop
For this setup, we will assume you want 4 Led to flash one after the other repeatedly.
(like on a tarmac at the airport to show the landing road to the planes.)

- Craft a wiring tool and equip it
- Craft 4 Led.
- Craft 4 Delay Gate.
- Craft 1 Inverter Gate.
- Craft 1 Switch.

- Place your 4 Led on a wall from left to right. (we will call them Led 1 to 4, left being 1 and right being 4)
- Place your Delay Gate on a wall in same order as your Led. (we will call them delay 1 to 4)
- Place your Inverter Gate on the right of Delay 4.
- Place your switch left of delay 1.

Now we are going to link all the delay gate in a circuit.

- Look at Delay 1 and left-click Send.
- Look at Delay 2 and left-click Receive.
- Look at Delay 2 and left-click Send.
- Look at Delay 3 and left-click Receive.
- Look at Delay 3 and left-click Send.
- Look at Delay 4 and Left-click Receive.
- Look at Delay 4 and left-click Send.
- Look at Inverter Gate and left-click Receive.
- Look at Inverter Gate and left-click Send.
- Look at Delay 1 and left-click Receive.

Each Delay Gate will send a signal to the next one to turn on the Led.
The Inverter Gate will then Invert the signal to Delay 1 to redo the circuit by turning them off.
Then the inverter will then invert the signal to Delay 1 to redo the circuit by turning them on.
Etc......

Now we need to connect each Led to its respective Delay Gate.

- Look at Delay 1 and left-click Send.
- Look at Led 1 and left-click Receive.
- Look at Delay 2 and left-click Send.
- Look at Led 2 and left-click Receive.
- Look at Delay 3 and left-click Send.
- Look at Led 3 and left-click Receive.
- Look at Delay 4 and left-click Send.
- Look at Led 4 and left-click Receive.

Now our Circuit is complete. All we need is to power it and it'll become automated.

- Look at your Switch and left-click Send.
- Look at Delay 1 and left-click Receive.

Now your Temporary switch is connected.
Turn your switch on then remove it from the wall.
Enjoy your light show :)

(if ever your lights stop working, you can place back the switch and give em another spark.)
(if they stop too often, place a sensor instead of a switch detecting movement in the room.)
[The Sensor] How to Make automated Lights
- Craft 1 Lamp and place it in your house.
- Craft 1 Sensor and hide it under your floor. (preferably in an outside corner of the house)
- Craft 1 wiring tool and equip it.

- Look at your sensor and left-click on Send.
- Look at your Lamp and left-click on Receive.

Your sensor is now controling your lamp, but since its hidden underground we must set the range within wich your sensor will detect presences.

- Look at your Sensor and press N to open the setup interface.
- Change the width and length until the blue box covers your whole house.
- Change the height until the blue box peaks out of your floor at least 1 block high (more if you want it to affect second and third floors.)
- Rotate your Sensor to place the blue box on the house if necessary.
- Uncheck Creatures if you want only players to turn your lamp on.

Now your lamp should turn on and remain on as long as there is someone in the house. It will automatically turn off if there is no one home.
[The Sensor] Welcome Message
Would you like to have a message showing at the bottom of your screen when you enter the house?

- Craft 1 wiring tool and equip it.
- Craft 1 Sensorb and hide in under your floor. (preferably in the outside corner of the house)
- Look at your sensor and press N to open the setup interface.
- Type your message in the empty box at the bottom of the setup interface.
- Change the width and length until the blue box covers your whole house.
- Change the height until the blue box peaks out of your floor at least 1 block high (more if you want it to affect second and third floors.)
- Rotate your Sensor to place the blue box on the house if necessary.

Now when someone enter your house it should show them a welcome message until they leave the house.
[The Phaser] How to make a Secret Door
Your hidden wall can be opened by many different triggers.
I will teach you the 3 easiest ways.

The Switch

The Switch work only on 1 side of the wall and wont close behind you unless you add a delay gate between it and the phaser then turn it on and off.

- Craft a wiring tool.
- Craft a phaser.
- Craft a switch.

- Dig a 2 block vertical hole in your wall. (it can be more than 2 blocks)
- Remove 2 blocks under that hole in the wall. (your hole is now 2 blocks in the wall and 2 blocks deep in the floor)
- Place your phaser at the bottom of that hole.
- Place back the floor block on top of the phaser.

You should now have only a 2 blocks vertical hole in your wall with a phaser hidden under the floor.

- Place back the blocks in your vertical opening. (these blocks will be your door)
- Place your switch on the wall near the door. (do not place the switch on it, obviously)

- Look at your switch and left-click on Send
- Look at your phaser (through the floor) and left-click on Receive.
- Look at your phaser and press N to open the setup interface.
- Select in green the second and third blocks. (the first on the left should be your floor, you dont want it to phase off)

Now turning your switch on should make 2 blocks disapear into your wall, causing a vertical opening of 2 blocks.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Keypad

The Keypad will close the wall behind you and can be locked

- Craft a wiring tool.
- Craft a phaser.
- Craft a keypad.

- Place your keypad on the wall near the door. (do not place the keypad on it, obviously)

- Look at your keypad and left-click on Send
- Look at your phaser (through the floor) and left-click on Receive.

- Look at your keypad and press N to open the setup interface.
- Change the Delay from zero to 3 (you might need more delay if your keypad is far from the hidden door as youll need time to travel from the keypad to the door.)

- Look at your phaser and press N to open the setup interface.
- Select in green the second and third blocks. (the first on the left should be your floor, you dont want it to phase off)

Now opening your keypad and pressing any numbers in it should make 2 blocks disapear into your wall, causing a vertical opening of 2 blocks.

(if you wish to lock your hidden door please refer to the keypad tutoriel. The Phaser would replace the door in your setup.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Sensor

The Sensor will automatically open and close the wall without any interaction but can't be locked.

- Craft a wiring tool.
- Craft a phaser.
- Craft a Sensor.

- Dig 2 blocks deep, 2 blocks away from your hidden door.
- Place your Sensor at the bottom and put back the floor block on top of it.

- Look at your sensor and left-click on Send.
- Look at your phaser (through the floor) and left-click on Receive.
- Look at your Sensor and press N to open the setup interface.
- Change the height to make the blue box peak out 1 block over your floor.
- Change width and length to make a blue box between the sensor and the wall. (make it 3 blocks longer if you want it to work on both side of the wall, assuming your wall is 1 block thick.)
- Look at your phaser and press N to open the setup interface.
- Select in green the second and third blocks. (the first on the left should be your floor, you dont want it to phase off)

Now walking within 2 blocks from your wall should make 2 blocks disapear from it, causing a vertical opening of 2 blocks.
[The Mob Spawner] Make an Arena
For this setup, lets suppose you want 4 mobs to spawn at same time in a cube.
We will make it triggered by a switch since most players want to control the arena but it could be automated with a sensor or some pressure plates.
You will need 5 blocks between each spawners to allow them to work at same time.

- Craft 1 wiring tool.
- Craft 4 Mob Spawner.
- Craft 1 Switch.

- Build a Room with a 7X7 floor inside the walls.
- Make your walls 6 blocks high.
- Make your ceiling on 7th block so you have 6 blocks between the floor and the ceiling.

(We could make the room smaller if we wanted to hide everything but for the tutoriel we will leave the spawners visible.)

- Place 1 mob spawner on the ceiling in each 4 corners of the room. (make sure to rotate them so they are facing down, not up.)
- Place your Switch outside the room. (on 2nd floor or outside the walls or even in the basement.)

- Look at your switch and left-click Send.
- Look at your mob spawner and left-click Receive.
- Repeat on all 4 Mob Spawner.

Now turning the switch on should Spawn a passive Pigsy.
Im Assuming you want more challenge so lets setup the mob spawners.

- Look at your mob spawner and press N to open the setup interface.
- Click on the pigsy and select the mob of your choice. (Ghosts and night mobs will burn under the sun. Do not pick them unless it is an inside arena or a night time arena.)
- Check the box called Aggressive.

Now everytime you will turn the switch on, it will spawn 4 Mobs in your room.
There will be no delay between each activation since your spawners are 5 blocks apart from one another and the mobs are falling 5 blocks away from the spawners.
Spam your switch and watch your friend being invaded by 20 Thing.

(PS: There is actually a bug with Creativerse's Mob Targeting AI. The mobs will target the first person who was in the area. So please make sure to have your fighter teleport in the arena before anyone else or they will attack someone else if they can reach it. If they cant reach, they will simply stand still and wait to be killed without defending themselves.)

(PSS: Spawned Mobs will only drop items if you placed something in the Spawner inventory by looking at it and pressing your action key default: E. Be warned that everything you placed in it will drop from the first mob being spawned, emptying totally the mob spawner from items.)[/i]

More Coming Soon
- Elevators (trying to figure out an easy way with fans)
- Traps (will write it soon)

awards are not needed however ^^
i wrote this guide back when i used to play creativerse because everyone on my server kept asking how to do this and that so i decided to write a comprehensible guide.

im glad if it helped you :)
a simple thumbs up will help promote the guide so that others may find it more easily <3
