Vanilla Trees Remover

Kuvaus
Removes vanilla trees from the map, from buildings and from roads. Configurable.

Provides options to remove vanilla trees from your game.

Use the checkboxes in the options menu to remove vanilla trees from.

All options take effect next time you load a save so ideally you should set them in main menu.

  • Map:
    Activate this option to get rid of all free-standing vanilla trees from your city.

  • Buildings:
    This option removes vanilla trees from all assets, including intersections, parks, etc. Use this to remove ugly vanilla trees from your favourite assets, then place custom ones manually using one of the anarchy mods.

  • Roads:
    Use this option if you want to remove trees from roads. It's only really useful for existing cities where you've already placed many roads with trees that you want to quickly get rid of. For new roads, you can obviously just use grass-only roads instead...

    If you use Network skins to replace trees on roads, then you probably want to disable the roads removal option.

NOTE: Removing network and building trees is not permanent, but removing free-standing trees IS PERMANENT after you save and they won't reappear if you remove the mod.

I really like this mod, because I hate vanilla trees, they are not realistic at all, and that's why I love this mod, to erase them from the face of the planet haha.

Doesn't work removing trees from building, industrial or network. Tried it today 11/25/2022 at 1pm eastern time.

Just tried it - still works for removing map trees! Not sure about other modes.

BOB mod can replace any type of tree/bush etc in an asset as well as any tree on a global scale to anything you have subbed too. I used it more than once myself and it works fine. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2197863850

I'm trying to lower RAM usage and would like to know if the removal of trees from networks and buildings effects game-play positively or otherwise.
