Intro, Titles are Tips.
Just as it says in the title of this section, the titles are the basic tips so if you want to just glance through and look for stuff that sounds bizzare its easier. Also pardon any spelling mistakes, my gaming keyboard is not the easiest to type on and I am not that good at English.
Slime is Water
When you convert Slime into Algae it produces water as a by-product. So even if you don't use Algae anymore (Using an electrolyser instead, which is recomended.) you can still get extra polluted water, which you can then refine.
Walk on Ladders
If you have a line of horiztontal ladders your duplicants will hop across them.
Water Airlocks
If you need an airlock that never lets any gasses pass but still lets your duplicants through just make a U shaped hallway with water in the bottom, it only has to be 2 deep as well. The blue is the water, the black is the tile lining your hallway, and the brown is a ladder. If you make it two deep its just high enough for your duplicants to go through and still block gas without it spilling over.
Extra Power
If you are using Electrolyzers, have them in a sealed room and have a filter that sends all the hydrogen to a hydrogren generator. It will make a bit of extra power to help keep your base running.
Cheap Oxygen
Contaminated dirt is a great way of getting contaminated oxygen, and you can either just use that for breathing or purify it somehow. I personally liquify it as I have unlimited power (Dupes running on wheels.) but not unlimited sand. And slime also puts out lots of contaminated oxygen. So does killing a large quantity of dupes in a closed room with a gas pump to spawn morbs.
Priority Nine makes Stress
Allegedally using priority nine causes your duplicants to stress, it may have been the thing that helped me out tremendously, the removing of stress, but it may have been a coincidence.
Gysers for Water
All you have to do is build a system around a gyser that in some way dissapates the heat from the steam (Just dont have it insulated essentially) and make it airtight. Then put a pump in there (Probably best to make it out of gold amalgam to never overheat.) and pump it out into your resivour, or directly to your consumption places.

I like making a closed off room to hold my slime/contaminated dirt and then just let it filter out over time making oxygen :D

As the OP said you can use slime to make algue and contaminated water. The machine that does so will also put out contaminated oxygen, put a deo thingy next to each of the machines and even more free oxygen.

Carbon Oxide?: Coal Generators and water purifiers spew out Carbon Oxide, I'm not sure if this is effiecient but place an algue farm to both sides of the machine and you'll get a bit of oxygen.

Btw OP it might be cool if you can put in a list of the gasses and there orders. As far as I know its as following: Hydrogen - Contaminated Oxygen - Oxygen - Chlorine - Carbon Oxide (I have not come across any more gasses :( I am trying to create more but its quite hard and I'm not even sure if its possible :p)

After playing this tons and tons getting frustrated about not getting further I'll provide you some stuff I noticed in the hope more players will do so to get me a bit further:

Contaminated Oxygen: There are more things then the outhouse to help you get contaminated oxygen. Slime spits it out, as does contaminated dirt. Put these in storage lockers which only holds 1 of them, so a storage locker dedicated to slime and one dedicated to contaminated dirt. The storage locker will for some reason still spit out the contaminated oxygen. Put a deo thingy to both sides and it will make you oxygen :)

Another tip, a dupe with high Tinkering skill and nothing else will be just as effective as a high level runner and high level scientist dupe. Not sure if this is intended, but for the time being thats how it is.

Idk, look at the minimum stats for the game and compare your computer version and such.

This isnt a question about tips in the game, but I cant load up the game. I start it up and its fine until I actually start my world up, then it just gives me a black screen and I cant do anything. Ive tried resetting it, pressing buttons, nothing. So I could use some help please because I have no idea how to fix this, also it says at teh start of my game that my Computer is not compatible enough could that possible be apart of the problem?

One thing that's helped me so far is limiting the number of dupes I print out. After the first few I got very picky and focused on the expansion and stability of my base. I only let new dupes in when I could support them.

I just noticed that earlier, half is about right though. It takes in 80, spits out 50. Thats close enough to halving it.
