The last step is to begin crafting over the P key.You dont need an smithy to make bars out of the ores. You should first farm materials for a bow and hunting utilities. After the bow you should craft Armor and a near range weapon so you can start exploring the Villages and the World itself.

Q: Is there singleplayer/offline play?
A: Sorta not really, you can create your own server/game, and set the player count to 1, but there isn't anyway to play offline.

Q: Will there be any type of chat or communication in game?
A: Yes, there will be small radius proximity voice communication, but no server wide chat.

A: We actually have a text channel dedicated to the spiciest/dankest memes, feel free to

A: Currently saving works by server save files, so if you join the same server, and its running the same save as the last time you played, you will keep all your inventory, but if the save file is changed, you will not have anything from the previous save.

A: Yes, the game is going to cost more and more when new stuff is added.
