Examine all items.

Chapter 1 - The Hospital
Part 1 - Location: Psych Test Room
Take your meds.
Put a cup over the ball and move them around until sound cue.
Behind you get the ball back and examine the postcard.
Put red cup over the ball, move them around again until it disappears.
Take your meds you loony.

Part 2 - Location: Your Room
Examine all objects in desk draws, shelf (to the right) and locker (behind you).
Framed painting to the left of the desk falls.
Grab painting (if it's in a real wall like it was for me use an object to get it reachable) and look at the back of it.
Place the swan on where it says 'Place the clue here'.
Chapter 2 - The Lodge
Part 1 - Location: Lodge
Try to open the door to break it.
Examine all items on floor and desk.
Note unreachable medical box.
Remember the lamp, to use while holding trigger press the trackpad.
Take screwdriver from behind where the deers head used to be.
Use screwdriver on the broken lock to open the door.

New room, open stove to the left, bottom nob will break.
Examine all objects.
Note trap door in the middle of the floor.
Side of stove will break open, take crowbar to previous room.
Use crowbar to break free the medical box, if floats to previous room.

Take lamp with you to the precious room with the trap door.
Go to previous room, open trap door, open medical box.

Use key out of medical box on door to exit, use lamp to see.


Part 2 - Location: Swan Ride
Turn crank to the left to start.
When the ride cones to an end look to your right over the edge into the water.


Back at your room, place the Pelican on 'Place clue here'.
Chapter 3 - Pelican Motel
Part 1 - Location: Motel bedroom
Leave room, go through to next room with 'exit' above it.
Underwater, take pills.
Motel room again, leave room again, go through door with 'exit' above it again.
Open mini fridge, take pills.
Motel room, exit again, let scene play out and go back to motel room.
Take pills on top of tv.

Listen to tv.
After lights got out, exit room.

Part 2 - Location: Motel room entrance/Bathroom
Answer phone.
Flashlight in draw.
In cabinet open mini fridge, use weird fork to open the bathroom door labeled WC.
Note locked safe in cabinet.
Bring flashlight into the Bathroom.
Turn the water on at the basin and bath to fog up the mirror.
Safe code is on the mirror (320).
Check bath before leaving.

Open safe with code 320, examine all items.
Answer the phone (sometimes spawns on the floor).

Back at your room, place the vulture on 'Place clue here'.
Chapter 4 - The Psyhiatry
Part 1 - Location Psychiatry Office

Examine all items, listen to answering machine, clue on notepad.
Pull top draw all the way out to find the UV light and crank.
With UV light see bodily fluids on floor and wooden wall.
Move wooden panels around in a clockwise pattern (the wooden pattern isn't meant to line up).
Revealing where the crank need to go, use crank.


Part 2 - Location: Secret Storage

Examine all objects.
Find source of noise (under cardboard box).

Pick it up to stop it.
Find writing on floor.
Find kids cassette player.
It's missing a battery.

Find battery in older doll's head, place in cassette player.

Listen to tape play, for a familiar voice.
Find source of noise again.
Secret area opens.
KEEP PLAYING, there is no checkpoint here, meaning you will have to repeat part 2.
Part 3 is short.

Part 3 - Location: Photo Development Room
Examine all items.
Develop photo.

Place shiny side up like so and turn machine on for 10 seconds.

Put photo in first tray for 10 seconds.
Second tray for 5 seconds and last tray for 5 seconds.
A familiar face.

In your room place crow on 'Place clue here'.
Chapter 5 - Confession
Location: Church

Turn on the light switch to your left.
Open door to confession room.
Examine bible and piece of paper that falls out.
Listen to priest.

Who are you.
Leave but take the piece of paper with you.
Piece of paper has the code for the lock on the door across the room.
Note: Trash in bucket has instructions for controlling the lock.

3 to the left, 11 right and 17 left.
Take lock off and open the door to storage room.
Use light switch to your right.
Take the book 'Paradise Lost' with you back to the preacher.
Put OPEN book on shelf for preacher.

Bring him your sins.
Go back to storage room, take pill back to preacher.

Why are you here.
Go to starting room, turn light back on.
Use key on keyhole at the bottom of the stairs.

Need fuse, go to storage room where book and pill were.
Take fuse to the right behind the sliding glass door.
Take fuse with you and put in the circuit in the bottom stair.
Go down ladder to enter the basement.
Examine all objects.
Take paper that says "You came for me' in blood to the preacher.
Show preacher
Look at preacher, let scene play out.


Back at your room, place the pill by the door on 'Place clue here'.
Chapter 6 - The Hospital
Don't take your pills.
Scene plays out.
Swan ride - Look around, let scenes play out.
Back at psychiatry room - throw chair INTO window.

Let scenes play out.

Epilogue
Read the newspaper.
Look down corridor.
Put coffee pot on.
Check corridor.

Thanks for the guide, it helped me help my parents through when they had some trouble. There were a few minor differences but they are mostly negligable

Says "A Chair in a Room: Greenwater > Guides > 9warbane's Guides" for me.
The game was remastered in October, that may of changed the levels.

Sorry, but you've posted this in the wrong game hub. This is for CHAIR IN A ROOM GREENWATER. The start area is a childs room with a smashed mirror.

Also in 1st chapter you didn't mention to put the red cup to your ear, unless that's changed?

I cannot for the life of me get the combination lock open in chapter 5. Any tips, probably something obvious I'm missing.
