This guide will help you to acquire the "publishing" achievements. They are extremely easy to acquire, and yet only 11-12% of Steam users have achieved them. For comparison, 77% of Steam users have acquired "Indie Sized" (hire 4 workers), 50% have achieved "Civilization: Pirate Railroads" (Hire Sid M.), and 20% have acquired "Elder Oblivion: The Skyrim Fallout" (Hire Todd H.). This disparity will really surprise you, once you realize how easy it is to get these achievements.

To get these achievements, the trick is that you DO NOT wait for the names to randomly generate. They may or may not ever randomly generate. I spammed micro-sized games for 2-4 hours and got NONE of these achievements. For comparison, I beat the rest of the campaign (and got the rest of the achievements) in 2 hours.

You must manually rename 4 games before you make them.

From the "Manage Current Projects" window (Hotkey: E), click on "New Project".



Within this window, you can rename your games.



Now you just need to rename four games to:
Half-Life 3 (note that there IS a dash)
The Last Guardian
Game Corp DX
Survivor Squad

Finally, fully publish those renamed games.
