Welcome to the Ceremonial Dagger Mod, created by Merlo!

This mod adds a new item, the Ceremonial Dagger, which will allow you to spawn items from the devil pool, at the cost of your own life. When you use it, though, the dagger becomes more and more broken and dangerous, until it finally breaks. Update 1.1 brings three new mystical pendants, which will integrate and upgrade the dagger when held. How much power can you unleash? Hope you enjoy!

-Technical Details
The daggers have each a different chance of taking away two red hearts instead of one, the full one has 1 in 20, the damaged one has 1 in 8 and the broken one has 1 in 3. The daggers will always take red HP first, unless you don't have any, which will then take away 3 soul/black hearts. The daggers can be found in many different pools, devil and curse rooms, red chests and devil beggars for the full one, treasure and secret rooms for the damaged one.
The Holy Pendant makes it so that items from the Angel Pool instead of the Devil Pool are spawned, the Pendant of Shadows makes it so that the Daggers always remove two hearts, but also spawn items from the two red hearts cost Devil Pool, and the Red Pendant makes it so that the Daggers always remove one red heart. Trinket drop rate is 1/200

The code is free to check out and modify for yourself, but if you want to use it as it is, please credit me.

Apart from the trinket issue described by others, it makes some artifacts invisible in the collection page (thus in the reminder list in pause menu as well).

so random trinkets from this mod keeps coming in and replacing other trinkets. is this supposed to happen? i haven't even encountered the ceremonial dagger so it's kinda pointless.

i really like the item,its always incredibly powerful to have "free" devil deal items,but,as neat as it is to "change" the items you get by holding the trinkets (which makes for fun strategies),it feels incredibly intrusive to have these trinkets,which only have the utility for one item,to REPLACE other trinkets by "spawning on top" of them. so if this is a bug or a feature,id like to ask you to change it
