Quick start - Spawn Pads & PvP
Spawn Pads

Place 1 spawn pad down, you and other players will now spawn at this location. If you place more than one, you will simply spawn at the last one placed, so stick to one.

PvP worlds
The pads with sword icons on are for PvP worlds. If you place a red and blue PVP pad down, the world will automaticaly become a Red Vs Blue deathmatch! If you place one of these pads down, the world wil be set as free for all PvP.
Quick start - Portals
Portals are used to link multiple worlds you have created. Multiple portals can be placed in the level - Meaning you can have one world, linking off to multiple worlds.

Linking Worlds

To link worlds together.
-Run trough the create new world portal in HubWorld. Press 'ESC' to go into edit mode.
-Create your awesome first world! Press 'F4' to name your world. Lets call this one 'world1'
-Place a portal down, ready to link. Dont click 'Link' yet, as your second world doesn't exist!!
-Go back to HubWorld, and go through the create portal again.
-Create your second world, remeber to name it. Now travel back to 'world1' via the HubWorld.
-Back in world 1, in edit mode, you can now click the link button above the portal, and click on the name of your second world.
-They are now linked!

Portal Settings

Portal locked until..
Killed all enemies - This portal will not unlock until all enemies in the current world haven been killed. The player will receive a notification when this has been complete. This is great for gauntlet style worlds.

Completed all quests - This portal will not unlock until all quests in the world have been complete. This option will be overwritten if an NPC has a quest that unlocks that portal. Again a notification will be given when this is complete.

These settings can be combined (so you have to kill all enemies and complete all quests to open the portal).

Note - A quest that has been set to unlock a portal will override these 'portal locked until..' options.

End game - Running through this portal will 'end the game'. It will trigger end game text and end game music (see below).

End game text - Click to change the text shown on the end game text, which shows as a scroll. After this appears in game you have the option to head back to HubWorld. If you are testing your level and run through an end game portal, you can hit escape to go back into edit mode (rather than having to go into HubWorld).

End game music - Click to change the music which is played during the end game text.

Quick start - Campfires & Beds (checkpoints)
Campfires

Place campfires down to act as checkpoints in your worlds. Run up to them to activate. Health and potions will be refilled and you'll respawn here if you die. They also act as fast travel points, press 'T' to travel back to the last campfire you visited.

Beds

Beds also act as a checkpoints, and change your current world theme to 'night blight'.
Quests and NPC dialog

You can add quests to your worlds by placing an NPC into the world.

Ensure there are enough enemies and collectables in your worlds to meet quest requirements.

Quests must be completed in the world they were set in. For example, if you have a quest to kill 10 skeletons, you can't go through a linked portal to another world and kill them there.

L brings up your quest tracker in play mode.

NPC dialog

If you'd like to just edit what a NPC says when you run up to them, in edit mode click on his quest icon and tick dialog only and fill out the start quest / dialog box. Back in game mode, this text will show when interacting with them.

Quest ends with option
Kill / collect quests can be set to be completed with another NPC. Example below.
1.Thor has a quest set in his quest tab, buy clicking 'quest ends with' Borris has been selected as the completion target. This means when you complete Thor's quest, you have to hand it in with Borris.

2.To set what Borris says when you hand in the quest, simply enter text into Thor's 'quest end' dialogue box

2.Borris also has his own quests to give you, however these will be locked out and not show in your game until you have completed Thors quest. This means you can set the pace at which quests are completed, using 'quest ends with'. you can no longer simply run passed Thor and pickup Borris's quests.

3.NPC's must be named to be chosen as a a quest target.
Blocking
Hold backslash '\' to block incoming melee attacks from the front. Be warned, blocking an attack will use up stamina, when you run out you will take damage.
Example - if you only have 50 stamina remaining, and an attack does 100, it will use up that 50 stamina and take the remaining 50 from your health.
Blocking works when running, but not sprinting and be used in lock-on. Stamina does not regenerate whilst holding the block. Projectiles can't be blocked. Let us know what you think on the forum.
Elite Enemies
