This is the ship I use to bring stuff from Earth to Space.
It is made to transport heavy things from Earth to my Orbital Platform.

If you plan on bringing things back, you might need to add more vertical Large Atmospheric Thrusters, but 2 are enough to land safely when empty. The 4 Hydrogen Tanks are enough to bring it to 25 km Altitude, where the Ion Thrusters kick in.
Make sure to disable Thrusters that you don't need to not overload. It is reasonably agile.
