"Hey up, how are you to get these achievements solo when you cannot get them in solo mode? You're off your rocker, mate!"

As a wise man once said, "where there's a will, there's a way". In order to get them solo, one needs to download the whitelisted faked players mutator and host an online game.

Firstly, go to the "Mutators" tab, add the faked players mutator, and set it to at least two players. Then, to ensure that no one joins mid-game, set a password on your server. Lastly, the difficulty and length of the game do not affect the achievements. Setting it to beginner/long can kill two birds with one stone.

Just to be on the safe side, sell everything but the crossbow before the boss wave. During the boss fight, make sure that you do not hit the Patriarch and his minions with grenades or guns, as using them might void the "Merry Men" achievement. However, it should be fairly easy to kill him quickly with just a crossbow on the beginner difficulty. Sharpshooter perk gives a substantial bonus to headshot damage so go to town with bolts to the bad guy's head and he might even not get the chance to heal himself.
