Since the Bioshock 2 Remastered has been released, some months ago, many players are suffering from many problems with the game. One of this problems is broken achievements, where the player does everything the achievement says and the achievement don't unlock.

From the 53 achievements, 8 seems to be broken for most of the players: Rapture Historian, Big Spender, Look at You, Hacker, Trap Master, Master Hacker, Master Gatherer, Research Master and All Weapon Upgrades. In this guide, I'll show some solutions I found for these achievements, so you can finally get 100% of the achievements on the game.

It seems the Bioshock 2 Remastered ingame counter is broken, and the player stats resets every time the level changes on the game. This means you need to do all the broken achievements on the same level, or they will not unlock.

Rapture Historian: Find 100 Audio Diaries.

Note: This achievement is currently impossible to obtain by a legitimate way, as the diary counter is broken and reset every time the player changes level.

For this achievement, just load any game save. Open the console (Tab), type exec GiveAllLogs.debug and press Enter. The achievement should pop up.

All Weapon Upgrades: Found every Power to the People weapon upgrades in the game.
Research Master: Completed all research on every subject in Rapture.

These 2 achievements are also impossible to get by a legitimate way, as the counter is broken and reset every time the level changes.

To get the achievements:

1-Go to Your Disk:\\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\commonBioShock 2 Remastered\ContentBaked\pc\System;
2-Open the file fulleverything.debug with Notepad;
3-Uncomment strings (remove ";" before string) (for Master Research achievement), then add
TestAddResearchPoints HumanMelee 2000
TestAddResearchPoints HumanRanged 2000
TestAddResearchPoints Security 2000
TestAddResearchPoints Brute 2000
TestAddResearchPoints BigDaddy 2000
TestAddResearchPoints Assassin 2000
TestAddResearchPoints CeilingCrawler 2000
TestAddResearchPoints MadDaddy 2000
TestAddResearchPoints BigSister 2000
4-Save the file;
5-Start a new game. When you got control, open console (Tab).
6-Type exec fulleverything.debug , then press enter. The All Weapon Upgrades achievement should pop up;
7-Repeat 6 until the Research Master achievement pop ups.

If you done all steps above and the Research Master achievement still does not unlock, there is another method (thanks to Turfera for the tip).

1) Go to C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\BioshockHD\Bioshock2\User.ini
2) Edit User.ini and change your Function Key keybindings (usually Plasmids) to these:
F1=TestAddResearchPoints MadDaddy 9000
F2=TestAddResearchPoints BigDaddy 9000
F3=TestAddResearchPoints BigSister 9000
F4=TestAddResearchPoints Brute 9000
F5=TestAddResearchPoints Assassin 9000

F7=TestAddResearchPoints Security 9000
F8=TestAddResearchPoints CeilingCrawler 9000
F9=TestAddResearchPoints HumanMelee 9000
3) Start a New Game
4) Press F1 to F9. You should receive the relevant plasmids as you press each key. After F9, the Achievement should pop.

Big Spender: Spent 2000 Dollars at Vending Machines

There is a code in order to get this achievement as well, but you still can get the achievement the legitimate way. Just spend 2000 dollars on the same level and the achievement should pop up.

However, if you prefer, you can unlock the achievement using the console code. Go to the Protector Trials, load any level, then open the console (Tab). Type igbigbucks and press Enter, then spend 2000 dollars on the vending machines. After spending 2000 dollars, the achievement should pop up.

Trap Master: Killed 30 enemies using only Traps.

You must get all the 30 trap kills in the same level. Just kill every single enemy you see with traps (Trap Rivets, Trap Spears, etc.) until it reach 30 kills, and the achievement should pop up.

I got this achievement on the Fontaine Futuristics level, killing every enemy with Trap Rivet and Trap Spear.

Master Hacker: Hacked 30 machines at a distance with the Hack Tool.

The best level to do this achievement is the first level of Minerva's Den. Don't hack anything until you get the hack tool. After you get the hack tool, hack everything at distance until you get 30 hacks. The achievement should pop up.

Tip: If you are missing hack tool ammo, buy Remote Hack Darts on the vending machines.

Look at You, Hacker: Killed 50 enemies using only hacked Security.

There is a easy way to do this achievement in a single level. Load any level, then trigger the security alarm. Hack the 2 first enemy bots, then let them fight with all the other bots that will appear. Repeat this until your friendly bots get 50 kills and the achievement should pop up.

Master Gatherer: Gather 600 ADAM with Little Sisters.

The best way to do this achievement is on the second level of Minerva's Den with the Protector Trials tonic (Master Protector) and Demanding Father tonic. After the 3 Little Sisters gathered the ADAM from all 6 bodies, you must have more than 600 ADAM, then this achievement should pop up.
