Things You Need [Survivial]
  • 1 Button Panel, 20 Construction Componets, 20 computers, 10 Interior plates
  • 1 Piston, 15 Steel Plates, 2 Computers, 4 Motors, 4 Large Steel Tubes, 10 Construction Componets
  • Armour Block, 25 Steel Plates
You will need in total: 24 Computers, 30 Construction Componets, 40 Steel Plates, 4 Motors, 4 Large Steel Tubes, and finally 10 Interior Plates
Construction [1 Stage]
You need to place a piston, then an armour block on top of the part that moves. Then a button panel on top.
Contruction and Setting Up [2-4 Stages]
Place the amount of pistons, then an armour block, then the button panel.

Enter the button panel menu, and put all the pistons on reverse.
Setting Up
Enter the k menu on the button panel, and put the psiton on reverse.

Planetary Lift
You will need the same as the 1 stage elevator BUT you will need another block

Place the lift on the ceiling of the ship/station
Put the first block on the bottom of the piston, and then the second on the side of that one
Put the button panel on the side block, and put the piston to reverse
You will probably want to align your landing gear/struts to work with the piston

i know there was a mod with gears and stuff for elevators and tank tracks but i cant remeber the name if you know it plz tell me

A year ago I attempted to make an elevator outside the gravitational well of a planet, so rather than using thrusters and fuel, it would just roll up a shaft, like a vertical train. initial tests were very effective, but the rail on a planetary scale proved too much for the game, and it tended to crash the server.
I am still looking for anyone who has come up with some sort of system that would be able to get a player outside of the planets gravity well.

also i meant a lift as in itll lift you down out of a ship onto the surface
