Solution to these problems:
- Black lines when equipping a weapon
- Missing or black characters
This problem happened to me and I almost did not find a solution, that's why I bring you this guide.

Blacks lines with guns

Characters with black lines

Or with lines of their respective colors

Missing characters

Solution

To solve this they need to open the console Please note that this option is enabled

Normally it is opened with the '' º '' key Image below the location on the keyboard

They have to open the console while they are in the game

Press '' º '' and the console will open

And you write mat_dxlevel 80 on the console

It will freeze for a while while the changes are made.

After doing this, you will see our Half life: Source normally

Note

If you get this problem you should do the same procedure every time you open the game, but not every time you load a map or level passes.
