Description

I loaded a no-powers savegame from the end of Clockwork Mansion mission with Corvo. I'm using MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics to display and capture statistics. Video captured at 50% resolution with AfterBurner.

The purpose of the video is to show Dishonored 2 game performance. This is not a review. I'm not providing judgement, opinion, or commentary. I'm providing this information to allow others to make their own decisions about whether to buy the game. At this time, I have 293 hours logged in Dishonored 2 on Steam. I've done five play-throughs, the latest a no-powers run with Corvo on the highest difficulty setting.

In the video, I wander a bit around the interior of the mansion entryway, lab, Jindosh's bedroom/office, and some of the behind-the-walls spaces. The spot where I stop to look through the window near the elevator down on the ballroom is one of the spots in the game with the most severe FPS drop. I go out on the bedroom balcony, look at an annoying shadow in the distance, hop out onto a duct, and finally proceed to slip on a banana peel and kill poor, beloved Corvo.

Adaptive resolution off. TXAA 1x, HBAO+, video settings cranked as high as they'll go. Nothing tweaked in the driver, GeForce Experience, config files, or otherwise.
