Summary
Hi all, simple mod here that adds the "Defensive" personality to all Wood Elf Realms in the Grand Campaign, which will make the Wood Elves much more likely to stay within, or near, their own borders. They will only attack other factions if provoked, or any of the other reasons why factions go to war. They also have a smaller chance of confederating due to my changes.

In lore, the Wood Elves are actually fairly united to a single cause. Which is the preservation of Athel Loren, and the destruction of the Beastmen. They aren't like the always feuding Elector Counts of the Empire. To replicate this in game, I increased the positive attitude the Wood Elves have for each other. In addition, the Wood Elves now are unlikely to ally with the Warriors of Chaos, as the WoC are now hostile to the Wood Elves once they arrive.

Compatibility
This mod will be compatible with just about everything.

I couldn't upload a fixed version of this mod but there is a very easy way to fix the bugs. Open the pack using the Rusted Pack File Manager and delete the culture_settlement_occupation_options_tables file.

In lore there's also the Wild Hunt that fucks with everybody, elves aren't as defensive as you think.

This mod doesn't seem to work since the norsca DLC. Like at all. It's not the issues of norsca being able to settle there, it's that wood elves are still absurdly aggressive

if somebody wants to try and test out some settings to fix this, get Pack File Manager and open the Defensive_Wood_Elves.pack, there is a phew lines about Norsca in the culture_settlement_occupation_options_tables ..... i simply don't have the knowledge to attempt it :(
