Foreword
Most of these are either well-known secret codes, words/phrases or something from the FF2 ARG. You can learn more about the ARG itself here[wiki.gamedetectives.net].

This is kinda the spoiler and cheating territory and i got the information from the game files, so I don't know how will the devs feel about it and I'm okay to remove the guide if they ask.

I strongly recomment to only to delve into this once you're done with the game "normally".
Codes
The first one will be unlike the bulk of others.
When you name your village, you can call it zelda (capitalization doesn't matter). This will make you enter the TXTWorld right away without loading the faerie city builder at all. Why would you want to, though, the builder is pretty amazing, I think!

Other codes are entered just while playing the faerie city builder. The game records the last 15 pressed keys and checks from 5 to 15 of them against the list of possible cheat codes by calculating some custom hashes[en.wikipedia.org]. Again, capitalization doesn't matter. A sound is played when a cheat code is recognized

Since the hashes are just 4 bytes long, there are many collisions[en.wikipedia.org], i.e. sequences of characters that are not intended by the developer, but they just have the same hash value as the correct ones, so they will work. In cases, where I don't know if I found the true code and the word looks more like a collision, i'll put it in italics. Not writing down collisions for others, but there are many, of course.

Boosts:
  • decay – gives 10,000 sparkles
  • woowoo – gives 100 crystals
  • innuendo – gives 69,000 wood
  • borlaug – triples the amount of current food
  • idkfa – all storage buildings get +10 of the resource (and +10 capacity), but also gain x10 weight
  • mitosis – doubles the population of faeries
  • ashby – removes all fog (by making sight orbs have 50,000 radius)
  • trainhotdog – digs caves underground (the "weaker" points further away from stone are dug first)
  • yqouur or clunsuts or yanombol or speedbfpsu (full list of up to 10-letter triggers: p.1[pastebin.com] p.2[pastebin.com]) – doubles the movement speed of all faeries (this stacks)
  • svalbard – gives one of each seed (including those you don't get naturally like Oak Tree)

Switching scenes:
  • butts or thejigisup – enters the underground door to TXTWorld.
  • glory – rolls the credits
  • kerfuffle – loads up the sound test screen
  • cornshot – switches screenshot mode on/off. In that mode you can use buttons F3 through F11 to switch different visual things, for example F6 respawns all faeries in the air. F12 saves the screenshot in %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Mostly Tigerproof\Glittermitten Grove\screenshots\ (independant from steam's overlay's screenshotting)

Just fun easter eggs:
  • idclip or noclip or idspispopd – all the trees get noclip and fall out of the level. I.e. removes all trees
  • iddqd – turns all undug ground into unbreakable stone
  • xyzzy – adds wind
  • tidelock – when the wind is on switches turbulence on/off
  • turbo – should be the same, but with a much higher value
  • ohnoo – faeries explode like fireworks
  • abacabb – spawns blood particles from the places, where trees were cut
In TXTWorld
There are also two cheats codes stored in hashes in the TXTWorld itself.

One of them is buttsagain – it opens the Warp Menu (that you'll eventually be able to access from the Time Mashyn).

The other one is for unlocking Nukey character in Biker Chicks. There was a $500 pledge reward in the FF2 Kickstarter (limited to one person), "which allows you to win every deathmatch simply by pressing a button". Well, that is Nukey – a character, whose action is killing everyone on the field but himself. You can unlock other characters in this minigame by winning as some others, but Nukey requires a special sequence of movements that I will deliberately not post in this guide since it was meant for that one kickstarter backer.

Not cool, bro.

@The Big Dawg: I don't think I've written it down and it's not interesting enough for me to get back to spend time on it. Sorry.

It's been four years and the guy himself even said he forgot about it. Share the wealth.

As the one Kickstarter backer with legal Nukey privileges, I appreciate your consideration.

To tell the truth, I completely forgot this was a thing until now; I've never actually used it!

The same way I know all the rest? The hashing function used by Jim is not even close to being cryptographically proof. And the fact that hashes are so small means collisions are trivial to find.

how do you know the code for nukey
