1. Find 2 starting resources Resin and Compound.
2. Build your base in a line.
3. Build Printer, Smelter, and research stations.
4. Build large power units, Solar and Wind.
5. Build Tethers as needed to reach distant resources.
6. Find nodes to get Fuel and Trade Station researched.
7. Build step 6
8. Build LOTS of Power and Batteries
9.
10. Profit.

As a bonus if you are thinking of building a vehicle then build the larger version not the smaller ones. The are not really worth the effort since they hold so little.
