How to get started with Paladins!
So before getting started with this guide, I've 2 things to say:
  • Unlike Call of Duty, this game isn't just about shooting and spraying till the enemy dies. It requires strategies and teamwork.
  • Unlike League of Legends, this game isn't just about remembering loads of useless strategies. It requires skill and efficiency.
Paladins is a team-based fantasy shooter with deep elements of strategy included in it. Yup, it's MOBA+FPS.
Let's get started now.

Point 1: Your team must be perfect.

As you move on further, you'll realize that your team's composition decides the outcome of the game. Your team should either have at least 1 champion of each role or be a perfect counter to the opponent's team.

There are various champions in this game, each of them being completely unique with their own roles and purposes. The champions are basically divided into 4 categories:
  • Damage
  • Front Line
  • Support
  • Flank

Here's a hierarchy you shall follow: Damage > Frontline/Support > Flank > Damage.

Don't always be obsessed with damaging. There are many more things you gotta do. You won't win a game even with 100 eliminations if you don't capture the objective or don't push the payload. So, stop being dumb and learn to build a perfect team.

Point 2: Your game-play matters.

Yeah, it isn't all about strategies. It's a first person shooter after all. To get good, you first need to choose a champion, learn about all its 5 abilities and then become good at it.
Stop messing around for no reason, stop blaming your team mates for not being a god, stop complaining about champions being overpowered. Just stop being a noob!

Point 3: Cards play a major role.

Cards are a part of your loadout and you obtain cards by opening chests or crafting them. Each loadout consists of 5 cards. Each card has 4 variations: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. By default, your champion will be equiped with a basic loadout.
Having a perfect loadout is a hard task and you might require a bit of research. Cards are meant to enrich the performance of your champion and hence, each champion will require a different loadout.

Point 4: Items play an equally major role

Items are stuffs which are purchased during the game. Not buying items is a proof of you being a mentally challenged person and I hope you're not. Cards are classifiled into 4 types:
  • Defense
  • Utility
  • Healing
  • Attack

A player can only have one item from each category at once. Each item can be upgraded up to two times, increasing the potency of their effects. Each upgrade costs the original value multiplied by 2 or 3 (e.g. a 300 credits item will cost 600 credits to upgrade to tier 2, and 900 credits to upgrade to tier 3). Once purchased or upgraded, items cannot be sold nor downgraded. There is an autobuy function that allows new players to have the game pick and purchase items for them. There are 4 cards in each category and 5 in the case of attack.

Point 5: Don't jump into the competitive mode
The requirement of being eligible to access competitive mode is that you should have at least 12 champions at level 4 or higher. This might take 20-30 hours. Sounds a bit too much, right? Well, its not. Even after all these hours spent, you won't even be close to being good.
If you're not willing to take competitive mode seriously, then you're requested to not even try it out. Just because apparently the community isn't as toxic as that of CSGO or Dota 2 doesn't mean its a place where you exhibit your stupidity. Play games like Mario if this is the case. Don't be an idiot!

These 5 points are the key to success. By following these, you'll not be a noob. Becoming a pro is now your duty.

I think you should emphisize about the items. Example would be Aggression being such a noob bait, etc.
