For some reasson the sound on 89.62 wont work but on your 89.59 the sounds work.

In china steamers were in use as late as at least 2003 I think.

I guess as an American its surprising to hear steam locomotives were still built in the 1960s while here in the US the steam power was mostly phased out during the 1950s. I know we did it faster than most countries since Europe and Asia saw steam engines used even as late as the 1970s and I think even the early 1980s. I assumed they were just using what was left over from the 1940s until they were too old to use or sufficient diesel and/or electrics replaced them.

@PineyCreek: In real, they were built in the year 1960 for the Oderbruchbahn and had therefore only a short liefetime. I just used this historical correct data, but you can change this by editing the mdl file yourself .

Why are this locomotive only available between 1960-1968?

It looks great by the way.
