But I Suggest using mine first.

Open dxcpl

AT the top click the 3 dots ( ... )

Search for your DirectX11 game, add the games exe to the list.

Click add

Click ok

At the bottom right of the dxcpl properties window check the check box titled "Force WARP"

Then open your game as normal and start playing.

****Note: Not all games are supported.****

Have fun.
Direct X 11 games on a Dirext X 10 machine
So, you have a Windows 7 OS and Microsoft will not let you download Direct X 11. Windows 7 is only aboe to run Dirext X 10. Yu-Gi-Oh! is such a simple game and doesn't it just make you angry enough to burn you up the developer went the way of WIndows 8 and Windows 10 with minimal specs?

Of course it does.

Well fear not, I'm going to make a hacker out of you yet.

Download direct X here:

Having recently learned some people have laptops and Windows version 7, some versions of 7 is not capatible with DirectX11, only uses DX10 or below. And some I'll tell you a story, a true story but it's up to you to believe it or figure out whom this happened to.

One day somewhere in the Great U.S. of A. an average Joe was sitting in his room where the temp was blistering, it fried his laptops Hard drive, he then took it to Geek Squad at Best Buy.

You know, that store where the White shirts are Versus the Blue shirts....

Well this Average Joe from Great Middle U.S. of A. took his laptop to have them install a brand new in store hard drive, one with larger space so paid premium. Also paid a 1 year subscription to Geek Support.

So this average Joe had his machine fixed and the GS team uploaded windows and the Average Joe went home. Come to find several bugs, soon was informed that Geek Squad installed a non legal, non legit copy, yes I said "COPY" of windows.

A version that does not allow Microsoft updates and worse does not allow some apps, software or programs to be installed because it's windows based and you need a legit copy.

Things were bad so the Average Joe got so angry he hacked the net and got himself a copy of a windows 7 key. Thus Average Joe is now able to download some programs updates and software but not all. His poor machine windows version only allowed Direct X 10 and 9 that was installed.

Thus when that Average Joe came and found Yu-Gi-Oh! on steam he wanted to play and made a purchase right away. Sadly he could not play because the developers were afraid of a tiny amount of lag with DirextX10 graphics, but the Average Joe didn't care about that and asked the publishers to add DX10 as minimum specs.
(Walking dead TellTales anyone? How Bout Batsy)

They ignored it.

Thus Super Joe decided to bring a hack of his own, a way to legitimately use a program to force Windows 7 DirectX10 to be used to play games solely formatted to run using DirectX11 graphics card.

And all SuperJoes fake friends all cheered and secretly all the Devs , Mods and Admins officially hated SuperJoe, The Average Schmoe from MiddleTown U.S. of A.

See Russian Commrad, don't you wish we were friends?
How to Voice chat on Steam
If your dueling with a friend, open steam chat dialog and request voice. It's the big drop down button on the top right, chose "Start Voice Chat" Then minimized the window and voice chat with your friend.

Good to know tid-bits.

Are you sure you mean DX11 and DX10? Windows 7 machines can use DX11, so I don't see the use in this (not that I own the game)

Welcome, anytime.
stan.klingenbart 23 Feb, 2017 @ 1:21am
Well it works fine, outside of field spells and special fields (like battle city blimp and D.D. sargasso in Zexal) :P there it is really slow
So thx again

Yes.

So even if the dxdiag said i'm using DirectX11, i'm not? (as i had to use "your method" to get in)
Chaz  [author] 2 Feb, 2017 @ 7:50am
You can't dude, your using DX10 instead of 11 to run the game because for what ever reason your machine can't handle it which lead you to someone like me that helped get you in. During animations you'll just have to be patient.
stan.klingenbart 2 Feb, 2017 @ 2:57am
SO i tried playing a while, but the animations are incredibly slow ... when summoning a monster it all slows down and when a special monster attacks..... lets say it took 3 minutes O.o how can this be and how can i change that?
As AC3 or the Borderlands games ran perfectly without a little of lagg...
