Introduction
When I first started to play the game I kept forgetting that each item has a limmited amount of things you can connect it to ingame. This can prevent you from placing lots of weapons around one city leading to having to break one to expand the amount of things connected to it. Feel free to keep this guide in your steam overlay to help prevent these occasions.
Information on what each of these things mean
Amount
The amount describes the amount of things that are able to connect to a device.

For example the solar plant has an amount of 3 so upto 3 things can be connected to it. So no more buildings can be connected to it.

Length
The length describes the amount of things in a line can be connected to the first.

For example the solar plant has a length of 6 so upto 6 buildings can be connected to it in a line or directly. The telescope array at the top is connected to the power grid and has 5 things connected to it in a line so if you put another building at the bottom it wouldn't recieve power.
