Few tactics that may be usefull with Ostruppen!

*cheap inf

*cheap reinforce

***unlike greandiers they dont like get wiped by one mortar shot

*now logic:
if you put 6 men to cover its more advantageous than putting 4 men to cover

*even if you lose 2 osttruppen squad members (32 manpower) thats nearly same as 1 inf section member (I think it was 30 manpower to reinforce ıdk)
*osttrupen have panzerfaust which makes them more better for late game(unlike assult grenadiers)

*once they reached vet 2 its ok inf
reached after vet 3 they are great (at vet 2 they get accuracy bonus %25 ) (at vet 3 they get 25% harder to hit so if you have extra 3% harder hit bulletin this makes osttruppen 28% harder to hit which means ENEMY WİLL MİSS 3 OF 1 THEİR SHOTS THATS İNSANE!)
my tactic I ALWAYS use
osttrupen 6x or 8x of them
stugs build about 4 or 6 of them

*to get rid of mg spam at start
I occupy buildings with pioneers
then I lose building (lol)
and get flamethrower to pioneers (EPİC FLANKİNG TACTİCS)
I MAKE CİRCLE around building put osttruppen at behind and all sides! mg needs to shot somewhere but it canT fire all sides! flamethrower squad fires building (its usually %85 dead mg sometimes mg breaks away due to osttruppen gets attack by another mg from behind

*HOW TO counter mortar spam
rush!! rush!! rush!! rush!! no stop to go mortar!
so enemy cant place mortars that they want to place

*HOW to counter soviets
STAY AT RANGE with soviets then its ok

*HOW to counter USF
they are most easy one since rifleman only effective at medium range if you just put osttrupen at cover and keep shooting rifleman at long range I usually drop about 2 squad members and they fall back later
come with bars or light mgs to prevent getting destroy by rifle blob you must use your mind (dont be dead minded )
TRENCH SPAM
SANDBAG SPAM
put osttrupen at heavy cover
spread osttrupen everywhere! and put in any covers fast as possible!

*what if usf get light armor istead ?
4 osttruppen 4 fausts...
PROFİT!

*HOW TO counter brits
this is most hardest one (lol)
their elite inf sections with cover bonus makes them great! but their cost is what makes them weak!
to prevent inf sections get cover rush with pioneers at early game to prevent them to get resources
be numberious!
attack always with numberious osttruppen they always run away (I won a game with 16 kills but with 134 loses lol )

*what if brits try mg spam ?
then everything would be way more easy since spamiing doesnt work that much for brits put osttruppen at heavy cover
try to be tough until you get more osttupen to flank mgs

*what you should do when brits get light armor ?
eh still you need tankfist get tank soon as possible (I usually get early stugs and destroy them
What if brits build sim city at mid victory point
you have to make hardest decision of your life İGNORE A SİDE (EPİC FLANKİNG TACTİCS LOL) Go for other sides instead!
I usually get stug when they builded bofors or mortars
defend your sides until you get great railway which will cause them to brace!
once brace structure done STUG ATTACK STUG ATTACK (so simple way I can tell defend your sides instead attackingand losing ostruupen like noob!) (I dont suggest mortar because it will bleed you to manpower and does nothing to placements )

*to prevent getting engine damage by mines use osttruppen to explode them mine costs 25 muni osttrupen costs 16 for squad member LOL (BLEED YOUR OPPONENTS WİTH OSTRUPPEN !)
last but not least thing is use railway always even to small squad of commandos or usf rifleman sometimes people doesnt micro well with their squads and lose them I know you use 200 muni to destroy 280 manpower rifleman squad (STİLL RİFLEMAN COSTS alot even though its muni) it sounds like stupid but works well with osttrupen doc since you dont use much muni I had about 600 muni at 18 minute

*EXTRA things

officer: even though its great with smoke and flank I dont use that much
still accuracy bonus with officer doesnt make ostruppen epic fighters (I feel they are still same)
use officer if mgs bother you

*supply drop
well this is risky you gave about 200 manpower to get resources and losing them doesnt help you!
you can only call supplies to sectors that is muni or fuel
they are usually at middle of batlle so (need good sight and better group of force to prevent enemy capturing it!

*TRENCH
this is good I mean really good!
spam tons of trench babwire everywhere WW1 comes back
enemy now have to capture or destroy your sim city
with epic micro nothing can counter this!

even enemy has support (use your mind!) with mgs flank them
you may get same results with grenadiers and lost more but with ostrruppen no (its 16 mp for per squad)

Isn't that way too much Osttruppen? They don't seem to be able to keep up with mid to late game. They're good for capturing territory early game, but having SIX of them? IDK. I usually got MG -> Osttruppen -> Ostruppen -> MG - >Osttruppen -> Panzergrenadiers etc.

panzerwerfers with arty officer are good. for 80 muni, you can get them to fire even if theyre in cooldown after 1 barrage. real late game though.
