Ranking Meadow animals based on speed, swimming ability, and jumping! Includes all animals but the eagle. The list was made by doing various tests and my own observations.

Hello! Welcome to my little guide. I gather you're here to learn about the rankings of each animal. The way I ranked them was by my own observations in gameplay and various tests I did for each. If you have any nitpicks or questions, don't be afraid to ask!

I will constantly be updating this guide when each new animal comes out, or when I find one of my rankings is wrong. (:
Speed

The ranking of speed goes from fastest to slowest, discluding the Eagle since it can either be the slowest or the fastest!



Animals put together mean they have equal speed!

Jump

The jumping ability goes from highest to lowest, this excludes the eagle since it is in the air!



Animals put together mean they have equal jump height!

I am unsure on if the fox jumps higher than the other animals, so if anyone would like to help me it would be much appreciated!

Swim

The swimming, like previous sections, goes from the fastest swimmer to the slowest swimmer.

Im uncertain on the swim speed of the last clump of animals other than that the badger swims faster than the baby lynx, so if anyone has any nitpicks, please share!
Conclusion

Thank you for taking time to read my guide, and again, if you have any nitpicks or suggestions, just tell me and I will consider/add them into the guide! As a rundown for which animals are objectively the best and worst to play as, the lynx is the best & most balanced and the baby badger is the worst in all categories.

while playing the goat and running alongside my friend playing the rabbit, they where both equal. and both outran the lynx.

i've noticed that every animal's swimming speed is the same as their walking speed (except for the frog who is nyoom fast), if this helps at all?

Hiya!

This was really helpful when I first started playing Meadow, as I could see what animal I’d enjoy playing as the most.

I’ve also got a small improvements to suggest. I think the frog is the slowest out of all the animals regarding its running speed. When I played as a frog, I noticed even little baby badgers went past me at a faster pace :meadowfrog:

Finally, I feel like I could help you with the walking speed. There are my personal observations (and my memory, which can be terrible at times!)

Hedgehogs are also a bit faster than badger cubs at both run speed and walking speed

The pheasents and eagles are the best swimmers because they don't even need to swim, they can fly
