As to the person with the mission W key dilemma, the key cap is actually not necessary to actuate the key! While it is less comfortable, you can still press down on the key switch to activate the key. However, this will not work if the key itself is actually broken. The fastest solution is to just rebind "forward" movement to a different key in the settings. You can access the settings from the main menu.
If your condition persists in either scenario, then you should go visit that doctor again!
To the person with the numb middle finger, you might be experiencing Transient Paresthesia. From my brief research on a WebMD article, when a limb "falls asleep" or you feel "pins and needles," that is referred to as Paresthesia. This condition is typically very temporary and can go away in a couple minutes (Transient Paresthesia), but it can also be chronic. Transient Paresthesia is typically caused when you apply pressure to blood vessels or nerves, so one of the best ways to "wake up" a limb is to let blood flow back into the affected area. Some other causes of Transient Paresthesia are dehydration, hallucinations, hyperventilation, migraines, and panic attacks.
