Welcome to this guide for a better radar!!

If you're like most people by now you are probably tired of teams that don't give any information about the enemy. The default radar is not of much help, but a few tweaks can help fix this problem! Follow this guide as these few tweaks will instantly help you improve in CS:GO!

What this guide will do

Game Settings

In game settings you can change the zoom of the radar as well as the size of the radar quite easily using the slider as seen below.

Commands

However using a few commands will be able to improve the radar even more!

These commands are cl_radar_always_centered 0 and cl_radar_icon_scale_min 1.

cl_radar_always_centered 0 - this command makes the map centered instead of the radar centering on you, making sure that you will be able to see the full map.

cl_radar_icon_scale_min 1 - this command is used to change the size of the player dots that you see on the radar - you can play around with different values for this command to find a size that you like!

Moving Forward

Now you have the necessary information for you to be able to customize the radar to be just like you want it to! Hopefully this will help you a lot in game, which I feel confident that it will!
