How to get the Abyssal Armor at New Game (100% Working)

So, I suppose that the lazy developers of Darksiders did not fix the bug to start a new game with the Abyssal Armor but I found a way to start with the armor.

Saddly, the only way to fix this problem is to make a save file before obtaining the last piece of armor, once you get it, go to the menu and try to start a new game (I do not know if you need to finish The game first) and then it will ask you if you want to use the Abyssal Armor.

Once you start the game, it's very likely that the armor effects (healing and defense) wont work so I suggest you to save then return to the menu and load your file but if this does not work then get killed by an enemy (This worked for me).

Yes, the glitch was fixed.

I did no get the Abissal armor in the first playthrough because I did not get all the pieces.

I did not know that you could start the next time with the armor if you have it already, so I played on Apocalyptic without the armor, that was challenging at times but fun anyway.

eFerBen, some peoples had told me that the developers fixed this glitch.
After obtaining the Abyssal Armor for the first time and finishing the game, you have the option to start the game with the armor.

So you could start the game with the abyssal armor?

I did not get the armor during my Normal Playthrough and I played the Apocalyptic Playthrough starting with the normal armor, eventually I got the Abyssal armor and that made things a lot easier at the end.

Btw: this bug was part of the original game and as mentioned they fixed it...

Just started my Apocalyptic Playthrough yesterday and got the prompt "Do you want to carry over the Abyssmal Armor" just fine. I think the "lazy developers" fixed it. Didn't need to do your trick, I beat the game (first save) and started my second game, no issues.
