By Okami Tomato
To go with my Boss ideas ''''''''''guide'''''''''' I bring you item ideas!
I mainly did this because I though that if someone wanted to use any of the boss ideas (big 'if' there) that some drop ideas could be helpful
Plus I had ideas for items that I just thought about collecting into a place
So anyways, here's another guide-that-isnt-a-guide for everyone to enjoy :P

Melee Weapons
Skyforged Starcutter:
150 Melee Damage
5% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Strong Knockback
-Summons a beam of light when swung that hits up to 5 enemies. (Can hit the same enemy more than once if they are large enough, like bosses)
-20% drop from the Harpy Princess (Check the Boss Ideas 'guide')
(Note: Due to it being able to hit the same enemy multiple times with 150-damage projectiles and the sword swing it is possible to make it do up to 900 damage to enemies without modifiers if the swing and all 5 beam hits land, which can become devastating once modifiers are added)

The Grand Inferno:
120 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Very Strong Knockback
-Fires out 3 fireballs when swung
-Both the sword and the fireballs inflict the 'Dragon Fire' debuff (Custom Boss 'Guide')
-30% drop from Garagon (Check the Boss ideas 'guide')

Sword Of Ancients I:
20 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Slow Speed
Weak Knockback
-10% drop from Garagon (Check the Boss ideas 'guide')
-Material-
Material For:
(Note: This sword is almost like an end-game version of the Terra Blade. This could be considered quite good as it means you have to work for the better weapons and unlike the post-1.3 Terra Blade it is a worthwhile grind in most cases)

Sword Of Ancients II:
45 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Average Speed
Weak Knockback
-Creates a small, slow-moving energy ball that vanishes after traveling 10 blocks
-Crafted From:
+ x20
-Material-
-Material For:

Sword Of Ancients III:
70 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Average Speed
Average Knockback
-Creates a small ball of energy that travels 20 blocks before disappearing
-Crafted From:
+ x30
-Material-
-Material For:

Sword Of Ancients VI:
100 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Fast Speed
Strong Knockback
-Fires an energy sword that hits up to 3 foes
-Crafted From:
+ x50
-Material-
-Material For:

True Sword Of The Ancients:
265 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Insane Knockback
-Sends a shadow dragon at foes that travels through foes and blocks until it has traveled 100 blocks, where it violently explodes
-Sword and dragon both inflict Shadowflame for 10 seconds
-Crafted From:
+ + +
-Extra Note:
Despite the True Sword Of The Ancients having a higher attack stat than the meowmere it can still be debated the meowmere is stronger because it's projectiles bounce off of walls. The meowmere is better in more enclosed spaces while the T.S.O.T.A. is better in larger areas due to the lack of riccochet.

Tar Monster's Tooth
80 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Insanely Fast Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-45% drop from the Tar Creature
(Note: This weapon works like a later-game version of the crimson mimic drop equivalent, meaning it's DPS is even higher. This means that this weapon has the potential of, under the correct circumstances, being able to take down some bosses in only seconds at the cost of taking a lot of damage from having to be up-close)

Reaper's Edge
325 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Strong Knockback
-33.33% Drop from the Mysterious Stranger (Boss ideas)
-Extra Note: The sword used by the Princess of Phantoms during the Mysterious Stranger fight
(Note: Despite having the highest attack of any weapon in terraria it does not make it the best, even for melee weapons, due to it lacking any sort of projectile like other late-game swords have)

The Destroyer
108 Melee Damage
8% Crit Chance
Fast Speed
Average Knockback
-Fires lasers at nearby foes
-Crafted From:
+ x25 + x60
(Notes: Despite having slightly lower damage than the EoC yoyo, this one has the added bonus of being able to fire piercing lasers to increase it's DPS. It is also the only yoyo other than the Terrarian to have some kind of projectile effect. Crafting it may also be difficult as it requires defeating the destroyer several times which can be a nuisance in a yoyo playthrough)

Tomato Blade:
200 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Weak Knockback
-Tomato event drop
-Identical to the Meowmere except it fires Tomatoes instead of rainbow cats

Tomato Lance:
200 Melee Damage
8% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Weak Knockback
-Tomato event drop
-Thrown like the daybreak but it lacks the daybroken debuff

Tomato Flail:
225 Melee Damage
8% Crit Chance
Slow Speed
Strong Knockback
-Tomato event drop
-Leaves behind red spore clouds if any foes are hit, they deal ~200 damage evey second to foes and have no knockback but are affected by buffs like flasks and the fire gauntlet.

Ring Of Fire:
68 Melee Damage
8% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Average Knockback
Tooltip: Take your foes down, down, down with a powerful fiery disc
-100% Drop from Cosmos Crusher (2-3 at a time)
-Can be stacked up to 5, like the light disc
-Ignites foes on hit
-Passes through foes, making it able to hit them twice with 1 ring
Note: The item name and tooltip are a Johnny Cash reference, specifically to the song 'Ring of Fire'

Toxarang:
22 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Average Knockback
-A boomerang with a 10% chance to poison foes on hit

Shadow Shuriken:
80 Melee Damage
12% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Weak Knockback
-Rapidly throw high-velocity shurikens at foes
-Tomato Army Drop
-10% Chance to inflict the Shadowflame debuff
Melee Weapons (Part 2)

Tomato Claymore:
245 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Average Speed
Average Knockback
-As the weapon is swung spores are released at random speeds and at different sizes. They all travel between 3-8 blocks from the player, hang in the air, then vanish
--Up to 6 can be made with no modifier, 5 with a speed boosting modifier or 8 with a speed reducing modifier, though it is still better overall for buffs like legendary for overall DPS
-Tomato Army Drop

Tomato Sabre:
205 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Average Knockback
-Fires a sword beam, like the Terra Blade, that hits up to 5 enemies
-Tomato Army Drop

Tomato Slicer:
115 Melee Damage
8% Crit Chance
Insanely Fast Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-When swung it is rapidly spun around the player, like the Sky Dragon's Fury, though almost 3 times faster, dealing large DPS at close range from all sides

Tomonster's Claw:
100 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Insanely Fast Speed
Weak Knockback
-Swings slightly faster than the Fetid Bangknaks but is otherwise almost identical (except counting attack and knockback)

Flamebrand:
85 Melee Damage
8% Crit Chance
Fast Speed
Strong Knockback
-Swings release large fireballs that explode on contact and inflict the Dragon Fire debuff (check Garagon in the boss guide for details)

Cursebrand:
125 Melee Damage
8% Crit Chance
Fast Speed
Strong Knockback
-Swings release 1-3 shadow balls in an arc that inflict Shadowflame, Dragon Fire and Frostbite debuffs on hit
-Crafted using the Flamebrand, Frostbrand, 35 souls of night and 10 nebula fragments

True Muramasa:
142 Melee Damage
12% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Weak Knockback
-Glows brightly when swung
-Creates an arc of blue, damaging light when swung that hangs in place for a second before vanishing
--This means it has a projectile, though it does not go any further than where the blade is swung
---Many of these light arcs can be made at once and so worm-like enemies can be made to pass through several of them and the sword's swing itself to take thousands of damage, even without modifiers!

Silver Sabre:
80 Melee Damage
15% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Extremely Weak Knockback
-Dropped in the arachnid event (other guide)
-Can reach "insanely fast speed"
-Right-click: Dash in the direction you're facing every 3 seconds, dealing increased damage and being temporarily immune to damage.

Spider Fang:
90 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Average Speed
Average Knockback
-Arachnid event drop
-Spawns small, crescent-shaped projectiles that cause the "venom" debuff
--Projectiles pass through blocks and penetrate up to 5 enemies before vanishing (also vanish after 0.75 seconds)

Royal Sabre:
80 Melee Damage
12% Crit Chance
Fast Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-Arachnid event drop
-Left-click works like the Arkhalis, though with more range
-Right-click fires a crescent-shaped slash

Tomato Spear:
145 Melee Damage
12% Crit Chance
Fast Speed
Weak Knockback
-Drop from the tomato event
-A spear that, on hit, can cause a lot of different debuffs
--The debuffs include: Poison, Venom, Confusion and Slowness
Ranged Weapons
Sky Striker:
90 Ranged Damage
10% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Weak Knockback
-Converts all arrows into feathers, making them hit up to 3 foes and become unaffected by gravity while also retaining the arrow's unique effects
-All normal arrows will become inferno arrows, setting foes alight and exploding upon impact (On Fire! for 5 seconds)
-20% drop from the Harpy Princess (Check the Boss ideas 'guide')

Infern-Bow:
80 Ranged Damage
4% Crit Chance
Average Speed
Strong Knockback
-Converts arrows into inferno arrows, making them explode and set foes on fire
-instead of inflicting the 'On Fire!' debuff it inflicts the 'Dragon Fire' debuff
-Hellfire, cursed flame and flaming arrows deal double their normal damage with this bow
-30% drop from Garagon (Check the Boss ideas 'guide')
(Note: This is more-or-less a hardmode version of the Molten Fury but with better stats and overall more useful buffs that keep it standing out)

Fusion Monster:
50 Ranged Damage
4% Crit Chance
Average Speed
Strong Knockback
-Can charge up shots:
-Max. of +400% damage when charged for 4 seconds
-Knockback increases as charge time increases
-33.33% drop by Polyphemalus (Boss ideas)
(Note: Despite not looking much like Polyphemalus the reason it is called the Fusion Monster mainly comes from it's colouring: Purple representing the corruption and red the crimson, which is where the fusion part comes into play as normally in-game these two will never normally cross without some sort of player interaction, therefore meaning the player 'fused' the two biome types)

Bow Of Tar:
55 Ranged Damage
4% Crit Chance
Average Speed
Average Knockback
-Turns arrows into Tar arrows:
-Arrows will inflict the 'Tarred' debuff 10% of the time
-Fire, Hellfire or Cursed flame arrows will violently explode upon contact, dealing double damage and dealing 1.5x the normal fire damage
-Has a 10% chance for arrows to become teeth, allowing them to penetrate up to 5 foes and dealing double damage while still retaining the arrow's normal effects
-35% drop from the Tar Creature (Boss ideas)

Bowmato:
85 Ranged Damage
8% Crit Chance
Average Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-Tomato event drop
-Turns all ammo into tomato arrows, making them deal 5 more damage, pierce 2 more foes and bounce off the ground up to 3 times

Needle Gun:
15 Ranged Damage
4% Crit Chance
Very Fast Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-Uses darts instead of bullets. The darts fired will arc through the air instead of flying straight. They produce no light unlike the other biome's orb/heart ranged weapon drops. The darts fired have an added 3.33% chance to poison foes on top of any other buffs that are on the darts already. This is also one of the few pre-hardmode ranged weapons that auto-fires.

Megalodon:
65 Ranged Damage
4% Crit Chance
Insanely Fast Speed
Insanely Weak Knockback
-Starts off very slow, but gradually speeds up, like the Laser Machinegun. It's maximum speed is reached after 5 seconds, where it is about as fast as the chain gun, though slightly more accurate. It is slightly less accurate than the SDMG, however, meaning Chlorophyte bullets are best paired with it
Magic Weapons
Windswept Wing:
70 Magic Damage
8% Crit Chance
Uses 3 Mana
Insanely Fast Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-Rapidly fires Enchanted Feathers
-20% drop from the Harpy Princess (Check the Boss Ideas 'guide')
(Note: works like a Razorpine but with slower projectiles, no arc and slightly higher damage, as well as having double the base crit rate the Razorpine, and most magic weapons, have)

Roaring Flame:
48 Magic Damage
4% Crit Chance
Uses 3 Mana
Fast Speed
Extremely Weak Knockback
-Fires a stream of fire, like the Flamethrower, that causes the Dragon Flame debuff (Boss Ideas) for 5 seconds
-30% drop from Garagon (Boss ideas)
(Notes: This item took heavy inspiration from the flamethrower and Betsy's wrath for function and design, respectively)

Watcher's Staff:
80 Magic Damage
4% Crit Chance
Uses 12 Mana
Fast Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-Fires an eye that homes in on foes
-25% drop from Polyphemalus (Boss ideas)
(Notes: Works very similarly to the Spectre rod: a powerful staff that can only be obtained from the post-plantera dungeon)

Claw Of Chaos:
350 Magic Damage
4% Crit Chance
Uses 25 Mana
Average Speed
Strong Knockback
-Fires a ball of Chaos Energy
-33.33% drop from the Mysterious Stranger (Boss ideas)
(Notes: despite having easily the highest magic attack stat of any magic weapon in the game by far this is not the best overall: firstly due to it's speed it loses out on the DPS war with things like the Windswept wing and the razorpine, which are both obtainable before this event and secondly it uses up a lot of mana for a single bolt of energy that moves at the speed of a nebula arcanum attack but with a smaller hitbox, making it easy to miss)

To-Mace-to:
75 Magic Damage
16% Crit Chance
Uses 18 Mana
Fast Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-Tomato event drop
-Fires a volley of 3 bouncing tomato projectiles. They bounce like flower of fire's projectiles, pierce up to 4 foes and can bounce up to 5 times.

Laser Pistol:
60 Magic Damage
4% Crit Chance

12% Crit Chance

Weak Knockback
-Tomato Event Drop
-Fires red homing projectiles like the nebula blaze except it has knockback

Infectious Burst:
12 Magic Damage

Uses 10 Mana
Fast Speed
Weak Knockback
-Fires a diamond-shaped rainbow projectile that splits in 2, then each of those splits into 2 more. It explodes either when it hits something or 1 second after it spits into 4.
--If all 4 projectiles hit it would do ~400 damage without counting defence or buffs

Tomonster's Bottled Roar:
45 Magic Damage
16% Crit Chance
Uses 25 Mana
Average Speed
Insane Knockback
-Lets out a short-ranged, loud roar with immense knockback capabilities.
--Most normal foes can be knocked off-screen with it
--Many bosses will also be pushed away slightly, though not as much as normal enemies
Summoner Weapons
Golden Harpy Staff:
55 Summon Damage
Costs 10 Mana
Average Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-Summons a Golden Harpy that shoots enchanted feathers at foes every ~0.75 seconds
Obtained:
-20% drop from the Harpy Princess (Check the Boss ideas 'guide')

(Note: If you have this Harpy summoned next to you it can trigger some special lines of dialogue from the Harpy Princess NPC, mainly involving her asking why it looks like her)

Optic Nerve:
50 Summon Damage
Costs 100 Mana
Very Slow Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-Summons 3 little eyes, each being one of Polyphemalus' eyes (except the grey one)
-Bluey, the blue one, fires lasers at foes that can riccochet off of 1 wall
-Greeny, the green one, shoots a stream of fire at foes when closeby, inflicting the cursed flames debuff for 3 seconds
-Redy, the red one, fires small fireballs that bounce like the flower of fire's. Each inflicts the on fire debuff for 5 seconds
-5% drop from Polyphemalus (Boss ideas)

(Note: This weapon is like a stronger variant of the Optic staff, an item that can be crafted after defeating the twins that proves to be helpful for most summoners due to their being 2 minions summoned for the cost of 1)

Staff Of Tar
50 Summon Damage
Costs 10 Mana
Average Speed
Weak Knockback
-Summons a small tar creature
-20% drop from the Tar Creature (Boss ideas)

(Note: Works like a hardmode slime staff, with the minions behaving in an identical way to the slime staff's except with different appearences and the ability to slow foes upon hit)

Cursed Key
55 Summon Damage
Costs 10 Mana
Slow Speed
Weak Knockback
-33.33% drop from the Mysterious Stranger (Boss ideas)

(Note: Works like an offense-based version of the Bone Key, allowing you to summon a small Phantom Skull like the ones seen in the Mysterious Stranger boss fight)

Tomato Staff:
75 Summon Damage
Costs 10 Mana
Average Speed
Very Weak Knockback
-Tomato Event Drop

Fast Speed
Extremely Weak Knockback

Royal Axe:
115 Melee Damage
4% Crit Chance
Slow Speed
Extremely Strong Knockback
100% Axe Power
-Arachnid event drop
-Has more range than it seems to
--Mainly because it's designed to be a cross between a tool and a proper melee weapon
Accessories
Heart Of Gold:
Increases the player's max health by 100
-15% drop from the Harpy Princess (Check the Boss ideas 'guide')
(Note: This item would prove useful to a lot of players, especially on singleplayer (where only you are targeted by foes as there is nobody else to target) or when you are playing warrior/tank classes in multiplayer (as you will be the one taking the most damage). This item will also make it so that lifeforce potions take you to a total of 720 health, making it 36 health per heart icon)

Golden Harpy Wings:
-Slightly slower than the solar wings but you can fly for a lot longer
-Crafted From:
+ x20 + x3
(Notes: With certain accessories you can almost nullify the flight speed downgrade, making it almost a straight upgrade from the solar wings in almost every situation. Some situations where it isn't are when fighting Duke Fishron, Betsy, Garagon or the Moon Lord as you will need to stay fast and mobile to avoid taking heavy damage)

Optic Wings:
-Same as Spooky Wings
-36.66% drop from Polyphemalus (Boss ideas)

Sungazer's Ring:

-Upon being hit by an attack the following things occur:
--Meteors will rain from the sky, dealing double the star cloak's star damage

--Inflicts the 'daybroken' debuff onto the foe. Every 20 damage is another second of the debuff.
-Crafted From:

-All attacks have a 5% chance to poison foes for 5 seconds. This stacks with other poison effect chances like the Blade of Grass.
-When you are hit foes are poisoned for 5 seconds.
Note: Despite the many chances for poison to occur it isn't as helpful as it may seem: Many enemies, including a lot of bosses, are immune to poison and poison already does low damage when compared to other buffs, like On Fire!

Mod Master Goggles:
-Allows the player to see wires and special walls without having to hold the walls/wrenches/wire cutters
--Makes for easier modification to maps as you will be able to see more technical things without having to hold several items that could potentially clog up your inventory more

Corrupted Rage Ring:
-0.5% drop from corruption enemies (10% from Corrupt Mimics, seperate from it's other drops)
-As your health goes down, your attack goes up:

Consumables
Chaos Wing:
-'Sends a cloud of darkness to possess the unready'
Desc: For Her sake don't use this!
(Note: The messages are both meant to be quite cryptic and mysterious as to not spoil much about the fight: The tooltip only talking about a cloud and the description only saying 'Her' instead of a name. This may also suggest that the cloud may actually possess her as the tooltip says which is also indicated by the small differences between her boss and her NPC, mainly being eye colours)

Ball Of Tar:
-'Summons A monster made of tar'
Desc: Extra Sticky!

Frozen Skull:
-'Summons the Frost Guardian'
Desc: Cold to the touch

Mysterious Amulet:
-'Summons an ancient beast'
Desc: It radiates a powerful energy, enough to scald your hand on touch!
(Note: This makes Garagon, the boss summoned by this item, the only dragon-based enemy in terraria history that is directly summoned by the player and not by some event like the Phantasm dragon or Betsy)

Fused Eye:
-'Summons an abomination!'
Desc: Looking at it makes you feel very uneasy
(Note: The 4 eyes are the same colours as Polyphemalus' eyes, which is one of the more subtle hints about who it summons (the most obvious being the eye count))

Tomatoes:
-Heals 50 HP
-Material
(Note: Harvested from Tomato plants)

Tomato Flag:
-Placable with left click
-Right Click will summon the Tomato Armies
Desc: Either place with Mouse 1 or use Mouse 2 to summon the Tomato Armies for a mock battle
(Note: This makes it the only placable boss summoner, one of the only items with a right click function and the only non-weapon with a right-click function)
Consumables - Arena Tablets
Inactive Cursed Tablet:
-Consumable
-Sold by the Tomato NPC
-Does not do anything when held up, like the fallen star, instead being used as a material to make a multitude of unique items

Arenas:
-Note: All bosses will ignore their normal spawn conditions (eg. Night, Biomes, Heights, Etc.)
- * = Boss is in the Custom Bosses page and not currently in Terraria
-Bosses will drop their normal drops but minibosses will also drop an extra 5 hearts due to them not usually dropping health

Cursed Tablet - PHN:
-Summons forth the pre-hardmode arena waves in normal mode:
1. King Slime + EoC
2. EoW + BoC
3. Queen Bee + Frost Guardian*
4. Skeletron
Notes:
-PHN stands for Pre-Hardmode, Normal
-WoF is not summoned for 3 reasons:
--1. If the player does not use this in the underworld WoF would end up being skipped anyways
--2. WoF needs the guide to be slain to summon normally and this would break that spawn necessity
--3. If the player has made a specific arena for this battle WoF would force the player out of it, and possibly through walls to leave which is cheap in my opinion

Cursed Tablet - PHD:
-Summons forth the pre-hardmode arena waves in 'duplicates' mode:
1. EoC x2
2. King Slime x2
3. BoC + EoW
4. Queen Bee x2
5. EoC, EoW, Skeletron
6. Frost Guardian* x2
7. Skeletron x3
Notes:
-PHD stands for Pre-Hardmode, Duplicates
-WoF is not present for the same reasons
-Wave 5 is a reference to the original Terraria challenge where the player had to take on all 3 bosses simaltaneousley: The Eye of Cthulhu, The Eater of Worlds and Skeletron, as no other bosses existed at the time of Terraria's release.

Cursed Tablet - PHC:
-Summons forth all the pre-hardmode bosses at the same time:
-King Slime, EoC, EoW, BoC, Skeletron, Frost Guardian* and Queen Bee
Notes:
-PHC stands for Pre-Hardmode, Chaotic
-WoF is not present for the same reasons

Cursed Tablet - HN:
-Summons the Hardmode arena in normal mode:
1. Skeletron + Wyvern + Frost Golem + Sand Guardian
2. Crimson Mimic + Corrupt Mimic + Hallowed Mimic
3. Tar Creature* + Frost Guardian (Hardmode Variant)*
4. Destroyer
5. Twins
6. Skeletron Prime
7. Cosmos Crusher*
8. Plantera (Not Enraged)
9. Cerebral Core*
10. Golem
11. Destroyer, Twins, Skeletron Prime, Cerebral Core*
12. Ocram*
13. Prime MK V*
14. Optimus*
15. Nebula Devourer*
16. Polyphemalus*
17. Enraged Plantera
18. Solar Cultist*
19. Duke Fishron
20. Garagon*
21. Famine* + Pestillence*
22. War* + Death*
Notes:
-HN stands for Hardmode, Normal
-None of the pre-hardmode bosses spawn with the exception of skeletron in wave 1

Cursed Tablet - HD:
-Summons the hardmode arena in 'duplicates' mode
1. Skeletron + Frost Golem + Sand Guardian + Wyvern x2
2. Crimson Mimic x2 + Corrupt Mimic x2 + Hallowed Mimic x2
3. Frost Guardian (Hardmode Variant)* + Tar Creature* x2
4. Destroyer x2
5. Twins x2
6. Skeletron Prime x2
7. Cosmos Crusher* x2 + Plantera (Not Enraged)
8. Golem x2 + Cerebral Core*
9. Ocram* + Prime MK V*
10. Garagon* + Optimus*
11. Nebula Devourer* + Polyphemalus* x2
12. Plantera (Enraged) x2 + Solar Cultist*
13. Duke Fishron x2
14. Famine* x2
15. Pestillence* x2
16. War* x2
17. Death* x2
Notes:
-HD stands for Hardmode, Duplicates
-The Twins are all linked together due to how their connectors work
-A total of 3 planteras have to be fought during this event

Cursed Tablet - HC:
-Spawns all of the hardmode bosses and mini-bosses at the same time:
-Destroyer, Twins, Skeletron Prime, Prime MK V*, Plantera (Enraged), Cosmos Crusher*, Nebula Devourer*, Optimus*, Polyphemalus*, Hallowed Mimic, Corrupt Mimic, Crimson Mimic, Ice Golem, Sand Guardian, Solar Cultist*, Duke Fishron, Golem, Wyvern, Frost Guardian (Hardmode Variant)*, Tar Creature*, Garagon*, Ocram*, Cerebral Core*, Famine*, Pestillence*, War* and Death*
Notes:
-HC stands for Hardmode, Chaotic
-Due to the sheer number of bosses a good arena may be necessary

Cursed Tablet - Apocalyptic:
-Spawns a much harder version of the arenas, using end-game bosses exclusively:
1. Duke Fishron + Garagon*
2. Famine* + Pestillence*
3. War* + Death*
4. Harpy Princess*
5. ???*
6. Moon Lord
7. **Oblivion** (Secret End-Game Event-Exclusive Boss)
Materials
Harpy Essence:
Desc: The 'Essence' of a Harpy?
-5% drop from Harpy Princess (Check the Boss ideas 'guide')
-Material-
-Material For:
, (Luminous Dyes)

Enchantment Flask:
Desc: A flask full of a strange fluid. It gives off a strange, entising smell.
-Sold by the Harpy Princess (NPC)
-Material-
-Material For:
(Note: Due to the similar colour and glow it could be argued that the 'Harpy Essence' is in some way linked to the enchantment flask, possibly being a secret ingredient that may explain her embarassment for losing it, as it would be fairly important for making one of her special items)

Purity Seed:
Desc: A seed containing the essence of the world. Combining it with seeds can grant it abilities.
-Dropped by Oblivion
-Material-
-Material For:
-- + Seed = Pure Seed (Makes the world completely corruption/crimson/hallow free)
-- + Corrupt/Crimson Seed = Corrupt Seed (Makes the whole world corrupted/crimtane)
-- + Jungle/Shiverthorn Seed = Jungle/Frost Seed (Makes the world into a Jungle/Ice biome entirely)
-- + Pixie Dust = Hallow Seed (Makes the whole world Hallow)
Blocks
1-Way Blocks: (Up, Left, Right, Down) - Type: Platform
-Placable, platform-like blocks that only allow people to move through it in 1 specific direction
-Sold by the Tomato NPC

Health Modifier Blocks: (Up, Return, Down) - Type: Special Background
-Up will increase a player's health by 20 for each one they pass through to a maximum of 500
-Return will take the player's health back to what it was before block modification
-Down will decrease the player's health by 20 for each one passed through
-Sold by the Tomato NPC
-These blocks will be invisible to players unless using the Mod-Master Goggles or holding one of them in their inventory (like wrenches do for wires) so that other wall types can be placed over them
-Like walls they can be destroyed using a hammer though the walls in front of them are going to be destroyed first, making large-scale map changed potentially tricky
Up and Down's effects can be reverted by using health potions, life crystals, life fruit, the Return health wall or dying.
(Blocks are useful for class-based minigames or any other kind of game that involves some kind of health limitation without the use of new characters or server commands)

Gravity Wall: (Up, Left, Right, Down) - Type: Background
-Changes the player's 'gravity' on contact, similarly to the gravitation potion.
-The walls will face their respective ways with the silver arrow blinking white every few seconds
-Unlike the health boost walls these do count as backgrounds and can also be turned on and off with wires
-Their buffs can be removed by dying, using the gravity globe/gravitation potion or by right-clicking the blue buff box below your hotbar
-Sold by the Tomato NPC

Smog Blocks:
-There are 8 different types though they all share 1 similarity: They all look like clouds and they are placed in front of all other blocks, allowing them to obscure blocks, players and even enemies and bosses.
-Cloud Block - Obscures anything behind it, no extra effects
-Burning Smoke Block - Inflicts the On Fire! debuff as long as something stays inside it*
-Toxic Smog Block - Inflicts the Poisoned debuff as long as something stays inside it*
-Healing Cloud Block - Heals anything inside* by 1 health per tick, player or enemy
-Blood Cloud Block - Inflicts Bleeding as long as something stays inside it*
-Weak Smog Block - Inflicts 1 damage per tick to players inside it*
-Smog Block - Inflicts 5 damage per tick to players inside it*
-Strong Smog Block - Inflicts 10 damage per tick to players inside it*
*Only have to be partially obscured for this effect to activate

Traps:
There are 8 types of trap block, each with varying effects and appearences that make them look like generic dungeon traps:
-Ball'n'chain - Rotates 360 degrees slowly, dealing damage to any players or enemies that make contact
-Contact Ball'n'chain - Rotates until it hits a solid block, then travels back the other way. Works like a normal Ball'n'chain if there are no blocks nearby to hit.
-Arrow Trap - Fires an arrow every 1.5 seconds at enemies or players nearby. Can be made team-specific
-Knight Trap - Spawns a 500-health armoured skeleton knight to attack nearby foes or players. Can be made team-specific, even changing the colour of it's armor (though not it's sword)
-Heavy Knight Trap - Spawns a 1000 health skeleton knight with an axe instead of a sword. Does higher damage and has higher defence, though it is much slower and attacks slower. Otherwise the same as the Knight Trap
-Axe Trap - Same as the Contact Ball'n'chain, though is faster-moving and does more damage
-Fireball Trap - Shoots a large fireball every 3 seconds, inflicting the On Fire! debuff. Can be made to fire in different directions
-Ice Ball Trap - Same as the fireball trap, though it shoots an ice ball that causes slowness and frozen debuffs.

Delay Block:
-If a current hits them they will light up for 1 second, then if they are next to another delay block pass the current onto that one, activating any wires or curcuits they meet for 1 second. Can have a wire run through them all to make the current travel in a certain order with no rippling effect.

Monster Bait:
-When placed it very heavily increases monster spawn rates nearby, as well as increasing the chances for rare monsters to appear
--Can stack with water candles and a battle potion if you REALLY want to fill the screen with enemies.
-Tomato event drop
Placeables
Tomato Flag:
-Right-clicking summons the event...

Tomato Captain Trophy:
-Tomato Event Boss Drop - Tomato Captain

Tomaladin Trophy:
-Tomato Event Boss Drop - Tomaladin (& Executomato)

Candy Cleric Trophy:
-Tomato Event Boss Drop - Candy Cleric

King Tomato Trophy:
-Tomato Event Boss Drop - King Tomato

Jetmato Trophy:
-Tomato Event Boss Drop - Jetmato

Worm Rider Trophy:
-Tomato Event Boss Drop - Worm Rider

Wyvern Rider Trophy:
-Tomato Event Boss Drop - Wyvern Rider

Cursed Gloom Statue:
-Sold by the Tomato NPC
-Can be used to spawn in any enemy, bosses included
--Enemies spawned will not drop any loot nor count towards banners
---Hearts and Mana Stars will still be dropped, however
-Right-Click the statue and a drop-down list of enemies will appear, complete with search bar to narrow down the options
--Enemies that the player hasn't yet encountered will be shaded out and will be unselectable
---Counts on all of the player's characters
----Eg. If the character used hasn't encountered a Nymph but another one of their characters has Nymphs will be spawnable
-Great for making maps like tower defence and survival if other types of enemies are needed (Eg. Skeleton Archers could be good for later waves in tower defence)
Pets
Infected Core: - Type: Light Pet
-Immoble, but will occasionally warp to the player's location if the player gets too far away. The player needs to be behind walls in order for it to teleport, however. Luckily this pet provides a lot of light, especially for something obtained pre-hardmode.
Mounts
Helicopter Control Device:
-Tomato Event Drop
-Summons a helicopter mount
--Fires at foes: 50 damage lasers every second that is affected by armor bonuses (Eg. Spectre Armor)

Red Slime Saddle:
-Tomato Event Drop
-Summons a red slime mount
--Slightly faster than the normal slime mount as well as being able to jump higher
--Jumping on foes has a higher chance of working
--Still floats on water but can also float on lava
--Grants fall damage immunity

Blessed Tomato:
-Idea by Streit
-Crafted using a Blessed Apple (Hallow enemy drop) and 50 tomatoes
-Almost identical to the Unicorn mount except it has an ever-so-slightly faster running speed and gains momentum slightly faster
(Extra Note: The mount is called the Tomatocorn)
(Sprite 1)
(Alt. Sprite)
Biomes
Infection Biome:
Biome Type: Corruption (Consumes other biomes except corruption, crimson or hallow)
Infected Grass
Toxtone - The biome's version of ebonstone
Infected Trees - Appear to be dead, covered in a strange, green substance instead of the normal leaves other trees have
Deadwood - This biome's version of wood, confirming that the trees are, in fact, killed upon the biome spreading
Venomite - Venom biome's version of Demonite/Crimtane
Toxtone Brick - Biome's version of Demonite brick, also used to hold the WoF's drops upon it's defeat
Infected Core - Biome's version of the corruption's Shadow Orbs, complete with unique drops:
Needle Gun - 20%
Infected Core - 20%
Infectious Burst - 20%
Toxarang - 20%
Infectious Cell - 20%

Lost Biome:
-In Production-

Ocean Temple:
Biome Type: Hardmode Temple (Large Underground Building)
Description:
-A large, twisting, underground dungeon hidden under the ocean biome. A temple key (The Plantera drop for anyone who doesn't know what it is :P) is needed in order to enter and the walls need a picksaw to mine.
-The biome lacks any proper boss, instead having an assortment of powerful foes and end-game weapons to use
-The entire temple is almost entirely flooded, having only a few small air pockets, making diving gear (or even better yet, the moon shell) very useful for exploration

Purity Seed Worlds:
Biome: The whole world becomes a certain type after the use of the Purity Seed's crafts.
-Floral Temples spawn when there isn't a Jungle Biome (Corrupt/Frost/Hallow Seeds) so Plantera can still spawn
--They spawn anywhere on the map for the above seed types, as well as the Jungle Seed, though spawn under the jungle for the Pure Seed
Dyes
Luminous Dyes: (x20)
-Luminous dyes allow the player to be seen in the dark with an effect similar to solar wings (not illuminating the surrounding area but still being easily seen in the dark)
+ (Any Dye) x20

Weapon Dyes:
-Via some process (idk what yet) you can turn normal dyes into weapon dyes. They can be applied to weapons by right-clicking the dye and then a weapon. Dyes can be removed (once again, idk how) so don't worry if you make your Terra Blade vivid pink by accident.
NPCs
Harpy Princess:
-HP: 500 (1000 in expert mode)
-Possible Names: Sky
-Moves in after being defeated
-Sells boss-summoning items
-Also sells Enchantment Flask for 12 Gold each
-Also sells Golden Feathers for 5 Gold each
-Will buy back the Harpy Essence for 1 platinum with a reply of embarassment
-Rapidly fires feathers that deal around 40 damage at nearby foes (200 dps)
-Can also, at the cost of 10 gold, make the world either permanently day or night (until you ask for it to go back to normal or buy the other one (or upon the NPC being defeated by foes))
--This is useful for farming events like the eclipse, as well as being useful for boss arenas where multiple bosses are being fought so the player does not have to worry about daytime ruining their fun
---However this can only be done post-game due to the NPC only spawning after the defeat of an endgame boss
---Time will go back to normal during the Pumpkin and Frost moons automatically so people cannot get artificially high scores by making it perma-night for the events

-----Responses:-----
-Oh, Hello again.
-Oh no, no, I'm fine... I don't really know where these injuries came from but I'm fine...
-Only a few scratches... and bullet holes...
-I've become pretty good friends with Dryad now. Easier to talk to than most of the others. (Dryad needs to have moved in)
-If Arms Dealer flirts with me even one more time he's being fed to a Wyvern. (Arms dealer needs to have moved in)
-Me and Dryad seem to have a lot of similar problems when I think about it... mainly to do with clothes... (Dryad needs to have moved in)
-If me and Nurse weren't good friends I'd have to have payed a fortune! (Nurse needs to have moved in)
-Im now beginning to suspect Clothier's constant 'sizings' are not sizings at all. (Clothier needs to have moved in)
-Sadly the other Harpys listen to the queen above me... so I cannot get them to stop attacking you.
-Hmm? I don't remember fighting you...
-----Blood Moon:-----
-Why is everyone acting so strangely tonight? (Needs to be at least 2 NPCs other than her to have moved in)
-Hey look, the moon's red.
-Oh yeah, we had a blood moon scheduled for today... probably should have told you... but it's fine, right?
-----Underground Home:-----
-N...n...no I...I'm not panicking about being b...below the surface at all
-W..why is it so dark down h...here?
-----With Harpy Minion:-----
-Is it just me or does that minion look a bit... familiar?
-Hey look, a mini-me.
----Harpy Essence Sold:----
-....
-Where Did You Get That!?
-...Thanks
-Well this is embarassing...
-...uhh... t-thanks...

Extra Notes:
-She seems to be very uneasy about living underground as suggested by her unique responses
-She is also one of few NPCs who does not have a change in personality during the blood moon
--She also seems to somehow be involved in the spawning of blood moons judging by one of her responses
-The only name she can have is Sky instead of having a selection of names like other NPCs

Tomato:
-HP: 500 (1000 in expert mode)
-Possible Names: Tomalfred, Tomalex, Tomadrian, Timothy, Tom, Tommy, Tim, Timmy, Tommothy, Tomack, Tomato, Tom Tom, Tomartholomew, Tomandy
-Moves in after at least 1 of the three endgame bosses has been defeated (Harpy Princess, ??? and/or Moon Lord)
-Sells the Tomato Flag, Tomatoes, Harpy Essence (Post Harpy Princess), Tomato Seeds, the 4 lunar event fragments (Post Moon-Lord), Pets, Mounts, Hardmode Bars, a few accessories and a range of strange blocks with unique effects.

----Responses:----
-Hey!
-Hey Mate!
-Why do I sell A bunch of things useful for map-building? I dunno if I'm honest...
-Why have I got a possessed and potentially evil statue for sale? Map-building's about the only answer I have for that....
-Could you help my friends out with something? They need someone to help them in combat training... so feel tree to buy the flag and right click with it... (Pre-Tomato event)
-Thanks again for helping my friends out mate (Post-Tomato event)

Extra Notes:
-Tomartholomew is a Spaceballs reference, specifically to the character Barf
Extra Notes
-The bosses that drop these items will probably be found on the Boss Ideas ''guide''

The golden harpy wings sounds like a interesting idea.
Okami Tomato  [author] 25 Dec, 2017 @ 4:56am
Well quack I did think about a few ideas for post-moon lord content but I will admit a gauntlet was not originally one of them...

But that has reminded me of an old idea I might add again which is essentially a portal to a new realm once certain bosses are defeated (harder places unlocked after harder bosses) with each place having some sort of 'goal' (mainly getting to the end to fight a boss)
aspkisser 24 Dec, 2017 @ 2:02pm
random idea: Maybe you need someting dropped from the moon lord to open the ocean temple, and a unique pickaxe found Inside to break the bricks it is made out of (Atlantean bricks?), to add a sort of post-moon lord gauntlet to keep players invested.
