Hey there! this guide contain may usefull information on surviving and solving the puzzle.
Don't worry about massive spoiler because this guide has ZERO reference to the ending.
I've also placed spoiler bars all over this guide

I'm definitely not a native english speaker.
But I'll gladly fix any grammar or spelling error, should one point it out.

The wee bit of tips
  • If Things ever get rough and you feel like getting stuck, sometimes a reset can also be a alternative
  • This walktrough only include the answers to the puzzles, if you have trouble surviving, go seek the wiki or ther guides
  • Don't try to rush your story progress as this game also require you to survive and watch your heath bar
  • The forest provide bountiful of food and resources for you to survive
  • Always bring a food when you're exploring
  • Every weirdly thingy you see may have a useful information so take a screenshot or use you phones
  • Always have a remedy for poison stowed in your camp
  • Don't ever leave important stuff outside your camp
  • Make the backpack as soon as you could

How to go Fullscreen
Alt + Enter

Where to drink:
The Streams, also the entrance to the cavern

How to cure poison:
The Purple bloom found in the highland, Also a green colored orb

How to find new location:
Scout around any empty map section

How to find even newer place
Save unwanted location to a parchment, you wont find that place again when scouting

How to use the orbicular lagoon
Place biome orb in left altar, use floaty ball to select different place, collect the orb again once the desired location is selected, use orb to guide you to the desired place

What does the chest in the moon do
It's inventory retains after reset or death, but retriving it will poison the character

What does the colored orb do
All orb except the green one poisons the player
Red: Give Bloodied Heart
Yellow: Give Gold Nuggets
Green: Cure the player from status Effect
Blue: give random items
Darker Blue: Reset the day
Violet: Teleport the player elsewhere
Purple: Learn New Recipes
Black: Give Blackened Hearts

What does the rabbit tootsie do
Nothing

What does the four leaved clover do
Also Nothing

How to repair the winter altar
Find all of it's three pieces

What does the golden amulet do
It start with an "N" and end with "othing"

How to get food during the autumn
Fishing, Hunting, and catching frogs

How to get food during the winter
Foraging in the jungle, cavern, and the plains
The Crafts
These list contain how to craft several useful objects

Basic Tools
> Where to get stones: Collect 3 pebbles in the stream, got to the highlands, smash rocks using pebbles, collect the stones and use stone to smash the rocks or craft a hammer first then come back to collect more stones

Feathery Net
> Where to get the arrow shaped plant: Go to marsh or streams

Frog Flask
> Where to get frog: Go to marsh with net, use net on a frog located in the lilypad
> Where to get string: Dig some plant or tree stump

Fishing Rods
> Where to get the hook: Smash crab in the beach using rocks or hammers and collect it's pincher
> Where to get fishing line: Found in the cavern, dont forget bring a net and a light source

Griddle
> Where to get the scales: Go to jungle with axe carve a giant scaly tree for it's bark
> Where to get the wood: Same place as before, just chop nearby trees

Rabbit Snare
> Where to get carrot: Go to highland with space, Dig out fern shaped plant, collect the carrot and the roots

Backpack
> Where to get rope: Go to jungle with axe, chop trees with vines entangling it
> Where to get leave: Go to beach with axe, chop palm trees

Javelin
> Where to get spearhead: Go to streams, collect small black pebbles
> Where to get wood: Go to plains with axe, chop acacia trees, also the log for the salt box

Salt Box
> How to learn: Fix the winter altar
> Where to get salt: Go to salt lake with hammer, Break salt outcrops[/spoiler]

Dynite Axe
> How to learn: Fix the winter altar
> Where to get ore: Go to cavern with hammer, smash purple colored rock

Mixing bowl
> How to learn: Interact with the orb in the witchy brewery

Coconut Flask
> How to make: Drill coconut using stalacittes found under the appley tree
The Hunt
How to Hunt Rabbit
> Craft Snares
> Go to Highland at dawn, dont forget to bring the snares
> Don't run, walk until you spot a rabbit
> Don't approach, instead drop or use the snares
> Walk away from the snare and the rabbit
> Wait Until the rabbit took the bait
> Collect the killed rabbit
> Gut the rabbit using flint found in the streams

How to hunt Deer and Goat
> Craft Javelin
> Go to the forest for deer at dawn or the mountain for goat at dusk
> Don't Forget to bring both javelin and the flinty rock
> Deer and goat are more sensitive that rabbit
> You can optionally bring tulips from the mountain to mask you scent
> If you spotted the deer/goat use javelin from far away
> If there is no goar or deer or that it got away, come back tomorow
> The carcass can only be gutted in place using flint
The Item of Rarity
This section tells how to get rare items found in the game

Blackened Heart Saves the game without needing to go to the endy altar
> Offering a pure flower to the endy altar
> Consuming a black colored orb

Bloodied Heart Replenishes the player's hunger and thirst
> Killing a deer or a goat
> Combining blackened heart with Pure flower in the mixing bowl
> Consuming a red colored orb

Enchanted Tools A cursed glass cannon version of each tools
> Random chance while trading with the ashy peddler

Flawless Fertilizer Instantly regrow a berry bush, fruity tree, and pure flowers
> Each day the composting box have a chance of combining a bonemeal with a rotting vegetative matter into a flawless fertilizer

The Perculiar Locations
Endy Altar
> Has a save point, but saving there cause krampus to get stronger
> Trade Pure Flower for Black Heart to make krampus weaker
> There is another room but accessing it's section require you to bring pure flower in your inventory
> The following room has a piece of the winter altar and a biome globe further to the right

Ashy Altar
> Has 4 altar each representing the four season, the winter one is broken
> To access other altar, one must attain enough knowlege from the previous altar
> The Left Room contain a petrified amulet, unlocking it has nothing to do with the owl from the right room
> The right room has a trader that will give you for items for a gold nuggets.

The Appley Tree
> Found when traveling to the rocky mountain
> Will grow actual apples if the black heart is replaced with a red heart
> The hole is accessible using ropey vinde gathered in the jungle
> The inside of the hole has an amulet and some bonemeal but require a light source to collect
> There is also a stalactites that can be used to make coconut flask

The Salt Lake
> Only accesible trough the orbicular lagoon
> Has Abundance of salt, rocks, useless gold dust, and somewhat useful gold nuggets

Orbicular lagoon
> Found when traveling to the marsh or streams
> Has a biome orb that can be used to guide player to a desired location
> Placing a second orb in the right pedestal will allow direct teleportation to the desired location

Witchy Brewery
> Map found by smashing the bottle hanging in the left upper corner of your camp
> The shop is only open at dawn
> The witch is friendly and will trade giant red mushroom for magic dust
> The magic dust can be used to turn plants into pure flower and minerals into gold nuggets
> One can also learn the recipe for the mixery bowl by interacting with the orb inside the shop

Shrubbery Altar
> Has six berry bushes that can be refilled by offering gold nuggets to the altar

Homely Oddity
> Has a fair amount of forest bounty
> The television can teleport player to a small living room
> The door will teleport player to a random location, but alos poison them
The Gateways
Plains Gateway
> Has two altar in it's opposing side
> Require offering that sometimes include food items or gold nuggets
> Read the altar's desctiption for the item's that it seek
> Offering should be either Mushroom, Giant Mushroom, Gold Nuggets, Fruits, and Berries

Cavern Gateway
> Has A circular image with certain part of it glowing
> The Image has something to do with the last night's lunar cycle
> The shape of the moon can be observed during your sleep
> If the glowing image is located in the left side of the gate, then the cave in guranteed to be accessible the following day
> If the glowing image is located in the center. interact with the pedestal to open the cavern gate

Rocky Gateway
> Has three rotary pedestal
> Each Pedestal represent three animal from it's respective biome
> Each pedestal represent a value from 1 to 4, and spinning the pedestal add it's value
> The pedestal always begin at value 1
> The value required has something to do with the number of poles on the odd sclupture in each of animal's biome
> Note that the value of the pole is alway unique in each playtrough
> Bird is found in the forest, rabbit is in the highland, and the frog is in the marshes








Jungle Gateway
> Has 2 parchment with map, and an image in the center
> Each parchement contain a map that leads to purple and red obelisk
> The puzzle is to syncronize the player's memory with the image in the gate
> By player's memmory I mean the 4x3 grid in your map
> If done right, interacting with the pedestal will open the gate
The Amulet Pieces
How to find amulet pieces: Do some scouting in any empty map section while holding the amulet of altar seeker

Plain Altar
> The main area has 6 watery altar and a constellation in the center
> The puzzle has something to do with one of your nightmares
> The puzzle require you to bring several filled water flask
> The 6 altar is split by 3 section, with each containing 2 altar
> Each section represent each of the shape in the constellation
> Filling and Emptying the altar will change the shape of the constellation
> The goal is to match the constellation from your dream with the one on this altar
> When the constellation match, you may proceed to the next section of the puzzle by walking trough the column
> The next section can only be started at dawn and my require several water and food supplies
> You just need to keep walking until you reach the altar which hold one of the amulet pieces

Jungle Altar
> The main room has 3 colored gem and a pedestal in the center
> This puzzle require you to bring 2 to 3 lenses
> Lens are gained from breaking bottles using hammer
> Interacting with the pedestal will teleport the player to a room
> The room may contain a colored bubble or an empty pedestal
> The colored gem can be inserted to the empty pedestal
> The colored laser can then be interacted with lens to change it's size
> The room can only be visited once a day
> Coming to the altar at different time of the day will take the player to different room
> The goal is to match the color and the size of the laser to the colored bubble
> If done right the amulet piece can be found in the room with the bubble

Caverns Altar
> The main room is dark and contain a squiggly monstrosity
> You need to use the coconut lantern to pass trough the monster
> The next section contains mazey corridors and one of the room should have one of the amulet piece
> A colored orb can also be found in one of the room
> The right way is random for every game but you are guranteed to find at least one of the amulet piece at the end of the maze

Rocky Altar
> The main area contain a giant hole
> To pass trough the player need 2 ropey vines, a dynite axe, and a light source
> You might also want to bring some food and water
> The bricked door need to be drilled by a dynite axe
> The second section contain 6 separate corridor each of the contain a brazier and a map
> Each of those 6 room has a door that leads to either a stone piece or a ghastly jumpscare
> You can't take the stone piece but you can still take a picture of it
> The stone pieces is a match to each other and it should resemble the altar's map
> The goal is to match the each room's brazier with the stone pieces
> If done right the amulet piece can be accesed from center of the first room

Humongous Head
> The main area contain a Humongous Head
> The head will ask the player to feed him stones
> Stones can be commonly found in the rocky mountain
> The second task require the player to feed him with a bloodied heart
> If done right, the humongous head should transform into an amulet pieces
The Other Amulet
Amulet of Altar Seeker
> Gained as the part of the storyline

Cursed Amulet
> By solving the puzzle in the left room of the Ashy Altar

Nourishing Amulet
> Found under the Appley Tree

Lucky Amulet
> Found by digging the X in the "No Treasure Here"
The Three Pieces of the Broken Altar
This Guide Tells your Specifically The location of the Pieces to the wintery altar


The first piece is located within the Endy Altar
One must hold the pure flower in order to pass the barrier of doubt

The second piece is located within the moon
One must interact with the rightmost pedestal to find the piece

The last piece is located within the beach
One must bring a shovel to dig it out

Jungle altar no longer requires lenses, now the size of the ray depends on which gem is inserted into which pedestal

I have a question.
It's Fall and I'm trying to solve the Plains Gateway.
One of the clues is "Bestowith foodling of scrumlentory harvest of treekinlins offerings engorged withoth fruiticiously gloryificiousness".

What is that? I've tried giving it apples, didn't work. If it's asking for berries from a tree, it's Fall. Is there anywhere I can still find tree berries? Or is this puzzle impossible to solve in the Fall?

My map isn't a 4x3 grid and I'm stuck on the Jungle Gateway, the grid that the red and pink dots are on look nothing like my map, I've used parchment three times to expand the map and it didnt help

Rabbit tootsie can be turned into a rabbit carcass by using magic powder on it.

The gold amulet increases the amount of gold nuggets that appear in the stream.

Also, the witchy brewer will also accept small red mushrooms for trade but 1:1 for a bag of magic powder instead of the 1:3 bags for a large red mushroom.

The witchy brewer is open at both dawn and mid morning. It's possible to visit twice in one day as long as the witchy brewer is the first two stops of the day. Magic powder inventory will also be refreshed so that six bags of magic powder can be bought in a day without using the blue orb to reset the day.
The witchy brewer is also open during the winter.

Going to sleep during rainy weather with small mushrooms in inventory will turn them into large mushrooms.

Magic Powder:
(any) meat >>> Red Heart
Rotten plants >>> Black Heart
Red Heart >>> Red Orb
Black Heart >>> Black Orb
Salt >>> Blue Orb

My Caverns Altar was way more complicated, took me hours to find the amulet. The above instructions didn't work for me, but I found it in the end.
