Here are the basics of the game I have learned so far. I will update if I find anymore game play basics or figure out any new recipies.

Basic Key Strokes

Basic Key Strokes
Quick Save = F5
Open container/Interact = E
Inventory = I
Scan area for items to pickup = Q "WHen walking or running"
Pickup all items when looting = Q "when looting container with multiple items"
Bring Up/Down Hud = X
Character Stats = C
Journal "View Quests Status" = J
W,S,A,S = Movement (Ensure inventory is closed so movement will work with mouse).

You can use any item on you action bar by pressing the coresponding number.

playing on steam deck runs pretty good no overheating you can do almost everything ingame so far....

Press TAB, there you will in left window find 3 +buttons (in the middle of that window) where you can uplevel

Additional basics: There is a command console using ~. Uses basic lua commands. Type help for a list of commands.

Yes, yes it was something simple . There was a bug with the bugs ! Who would have thought it. I do have another question though. What quest line or who do you have to talk to to get out of the valley and through the door to get to the town? I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a happy New Year to all of you.

Hello. Allso thank you but I have 2 questionsif you don't mind. 1 after you equip the " chipped bug" how do you RC it? I've tried everything and nothing happens. I'm sure it's something simple that eludes me. 2 What happened to the venders at Outcast Camp and Hunter's Rest ? all thats in their inventori is a hand to hand simble and two aboriginal fingers ! As well they don't have any " shineies" ?

You use a fire. Sit down at fire and acess the inventory. Right click on the meat in your inventory and select cook. You can check out the exoplanet lets plays I have done at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfDtnoTlSab2eoTBDHiAg7Q

what about cooking? the meat that i found is spoiled now because i cant figure out how to cook so i can make those 3 aliens happy
