It makes a lot of sense now that I was getting that vibe. FFL3 was the only game of the series I played, (I too loved it as a kid) but I intend to play the others one day, along with the other million games I need to get around to. Thanks for playing a recording a video! Believe it or not, I've never actually seen Stargate. Several others have made the same comparison though, so I might check it out. You also mentioned Final Fantasy Legend 3, which I LOVED as a kid. FFL3 is actually part of a game series called SaGa of which I am a huge fan. The stat progression (without using experience/levels) was somewhat inspired by the SaGa series. That comment was pretty observant of you!
