How to enable nightvision

Easy guide how to enable nightvision in game. I made this guide so other players could know about it.

P.S. This is only working on some servers. I havent tested it on every Server but as an example the Modriot ones work.

How do i enable nightvision?

That's simple! Bring up developer's console (~) and type:

bind n .nightvision

Instead of "n" you can put any key you want. If it doesnt work, you can try nightvision without dot.

Is it working on all servers?
A:I only know that its working on Modriot servers. Not every servers has enabled it. I'm sorry if its not working for you.

Is it a cheat?
A:No, but its an advantage over players that doesnt know about this little secret. That's the point of this guide so players could know about it.

Can i get VAC or get banned on servers for this?
A:As far as i know, you cant get VAC just for some console commands. And you probably wont banned or kicked on servers because of this (nobody will know you are using nightvision, but there is sound playing when you switching it off an on). It also depends on admin. If he will take it as a cheat, maximum he can give you is a warn, or tell you to unbind it (IMO).

Is this nightvision OP?
A:I wouldnt tell, you only see nightvision in close range, for longer range you still can use flashlight.

It's not a secret, it's a plugin meant to be used for Opposing Force as that campaign had nightvision but no flashlight, and Sven doesn't natively have nightvision. There's a really good guide called "How to improve your Opposing Force campaign experience" which teaches you how to fix things like the final boss, nightvision, ect; as well as showing you how to fix the installers.

This is a really useless guide for players looking to install nightvision on their own servers. For those looking for the actual plugin file, look at CubeMath's github project called UCHFastDL2, inside svencoop/scripts/plugins/Nightvision.as
Install it as you would any other plugin, then enable it in default_plugins.txt, THEN follow this guide to enable and bind it ingame.
