When their planet was on the verge of being captured, this small group decided that it wasnt worth fighting for.

They snuck aboard a small fighter ship and hightailed out of there. Shortly after fleeing from the war the military caught up with them and shot them out of space. Only a few could make it out of the ship in time, those who survived landed on this planet.
