This fantasy map is inspired by the Alps.

I hope you like my map and appreciate the hours it took me to create it.
  • Almost all trees in the building area were placed by hand and without a brush.
  • The creeks are very sensitive. If you change the terrain only slightly they might start to create waves.
In the screenshots I used the Alps Dolomite Theme . But the map wasn't made specifically for it, so you will see oil as snow and the oil is not on the mountaintops.

Is there an issue with the outside connections? People don't move in, and I've checked all the roads.

There are missing assets not in the list - Rock 06, Rock 07, Pine Tree, Siberian Pine, and Red/Yellow round rocks cluster.

@CarlPole: True, I made them like they the area is cultivated. It would be awesome to place big dense forests, but the tree limit doesn't allow that ;)

Amazingly looking map! As feedback though, I'd like to say that the forests look a bit urealistic. When you place forests you should place them in huge, continuous chunks instead of small forests with gaps inbetween. Forests don't grow this way and the only way you'll see them like that, is if people cut them like that and perhaps built inbetween, but that we'll do when we build cities on it so yeah. Big, long, continuous forest(s) instead of many tiny forests scattered.

I've also found another mod which lets you select a different "landscape style" more easily.
