Beskrivning
Features:
  • Allows selecting a population cap of 100, 250, or 500, or leave it at the map's default.
    • If you set the population cap up to 250 or 500 the upkeep cost is lowered in proportion, so that you can keep building units longer.
  • Resource adjustments:
    • Removes the AI's resource cheats. Humans and AIs now get the same base resource income rates.
    • Further reduces the Hard AI's munitions income by 50%, to cut back on excessive bombardments.
  • Allows the camera to zoom out 4x as far as default. (Beyond a certain point the units and other details will be hidden by the fog, but you still get a good overview of the landscape.)

This should work with most maps and tuning pack mods.


The variants will show up in your game options as something like:

General Utility / AN
General Utility / VP p250

where "AN" = "annihilation", "VP" = "victory points", "p250" = "population cap 250", etc.

When no population cap is mentioned, it defaults to whatever the map specifies, and does not modify the upkeep cost.

@Trigg no luck, I googled as well. Couldn't find one that does just those things. BUT thanks for your time. I tried yours out last night and it was so refreshing to not be getting overrun with tanks within 3 min of starting the game lol

@Trigg Thanks! Will probably still give it a shot. Do you know of any mods that JUST remove the AI cheating? Resources, Fog of War, and Knowing where stealth units are?

Hi does this remove all the AI's cheating? I see it matches their resource income to the player's which is good, but does it remove their "no fog of war" and "stealth unit detection"?? I'm having a lot of trouble finding a game mode mod that removes all ai cheating.

So you have to do it in the SCAR file manually. Definitely more time consuming than the attribute editor. I will have a crack at it. Thanks for your reply :) and for your time you put into these mods
